Ahh so he IS good at defense!

Yeah, I could see him falling down and singlehandedly taking out Bickell, Dowell and Pisani. He's pretty tall. That would be quite the defensive feat.

Not to worry jonesie ... Q's lines are like the weather in Chicago.

Yeah I know buddy. It's just that when I read that tweet, I felt an eery cool breeze pass by me in the room and a palpable shiver went down my spine for a split second.

LMAO!! You can't stop them, you can only hope to contain them.

If these lines hold up, this one is going to be . . . um . . . interesting?

Bwahahahaha!!! LMAO---I decree this to be "Post of the Day"for 10-26-10!

No point in getting upset over the lines, they will go through every possible combination during the game anyways. I have no problem with Kane on the third line, so far he has done very little compared to what we all know he can do. Hopefully him being on the third will jump start both him and Bolland who has also been quite useless. Skille deserves to get a look at on the top line from his past games where he has shown much hustle. Pisani hopefully stays on the fourth, he's been more than useless other than on the PK.

Thats some pretty radical line changes. Nothing we've seen since I can remember with Q. Switching a couple of things but holy fuck. 10 games into the season every line is different. Players who have yet to play with another player, on lines they have yet to play on.

After two losses?

Upset about it is one thing. Questioning the rationale is another.

And Kane is just under a point per game so I wouldn't quite say he's done very little. The -7 is somewhat troubling then Sharp has 4 more points and is -4.

I think Kane and Toews have been overshadowed by Sharps and Hossas awesome performances. I wouldn't say they've been stellar but I'm not exactly disappointed in their play either. Bolland on the other hand...

I'm done with Skille.

Hmm, how can you be done with Skille? I think he has been one of our better guys for the first 10 games, would be interesting to see him with a skilled center.

Looks like im the only one in here who is a bit excited about these new lines, im all for to spread the skill of the team.

Hey, at least we didnt do any panic trade that cant be undone...

If they win.... Q's a genius.... if they lose then everyone here is right and "WTF" was going on with those lines?

Here's the thing... I don't agree with these lines and frankly I really don't get any of them.

Then I remember that this head coach won the Stanley Cup last year AND JUST MIGHT know what he's doing.

EITHER WAY! JUST WIN!

I have to say I'm not upset with the lines at all. They look a bit odd to me (especially Kopy as center) but the team could use a little shake-up and hell, it's early in the season and no line is forever with Q. I'm of course most intrigued by that third line. It could actually be good in its weirdness. And I can't help but wonder whether Q is trying to get Kane to put more focus on the defensive part of his game by putting him with Bolland.

I kinda can't wait to see these lines in action -- for as long as they'll last!

Just win.

Please and thankyou.

I'll respect Q's judgement on the line changes. Skille and Stalberg are certainly deserving of more ice time. Anybody know off the top of their head how many power play opportunities Stalberg and Skille have caused with their speed playing limited minutes on the 4th line? I'd guess 4-5.

It was hard at times last year getting wins in our division. Most games were very close. We played the Preds 4 of the 6 games very early last year. When they were not that good. It bode well for us, until the playoffs.

Detroit and St. Louis were some of our toughest games last year. Even near the end Columbus I think won the last two of the 6 games.

Just to type it out--

Skille-Toews-Sharp

Brouwer-Kopecky-Hossa

Stalberg-Bolland-Kane

Bickell-Dowell-Pisani

I give it 10 minutes and 3 goals against. Maybe sooner.

I'll take the under on this one... 8 minutes and 2 goals against.

Sorry folks not to sound like a party pooper...but chalk up another loss today. This Kings team always plays us hard..unfortunately for us..we are not last years team and we are missing one of our top D-men. 4-2 kings. I hope I'm wrong.

Has Kopecky ever played center? I don't ever remember seeing him there.

He's played center on and off. Takes face offs. Just not sure he's a 2nd line Center, but he and Hossa do seem to have some chemistry.

and then some in my opinion. Kope seems to step his game up when he is on the ice with Hoss. I just want them to win tonight so I can literlaly poke my Dad in the eye while I am here in Jax.

I hope I'm wrong, too, but I don't see this as a pretty game tonight...
