Why do the Hawks ALWAYS play someone who is on the 2nd night of their back-to-backs?

Just win.

I'm hoping for total domination, but will except 2 points in any fashion. Who gets recalled? Pirri or Brophey?

Ben Smith recalled for this game. Honestly, I don't even know who he is. I know a good deal of our prospects, but I only vaguely recall Smith. Seems strange with all the other talent down there.

Hawks win 2-0 with Ben Smith getting his first NHL goal, and Hossa scoring an empty-netter by sheer will from the press box.

I thought he played good in preseason.

Could be some kind of record, 4 players from the USA playing on the same team.

My favorite teams
  1. Portland Timbers
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Despite a really good feeling, We seem to lose these types of games...

I so hope I'm proven wrong.

My only prediction: Frasier fights Dowell and they both lose.

I just hope we are not in for a let down after beating a great team like L.A. We seem to get that every now and then. And why is it that as soon as we hear Campbell is coming back soon, we have to lose another player. I don't wish it uppon any of our players but damm not my favorite player!

Does anyone know if Bullin wall is in net for the Oilers in net today?

He was not even dressed for the Jackets game last night.

Yea because he was relaxing for tonights game.

You sure he wasn't out drinking somewhere? I know, that was mean. For some reason I had it in my mind that he had gotten jail time for the DUI/speeding charge that would prevent him from playing at the beginning of the season. I was stunned to see him playing.

Ive actually watched most of the Oilers game and he has been one of the bright spots on what is a very young team.

Knowing him and the family I'm definitely bias, but I think he's a great person on and off the ice.

I think he was sentenced and it will take place after the season.

Tonight is a 3rd jersey night.

He has been playing VERY well this season and honestly, I'm happy for him. He seems like a good guy who made a bad mistake, and you can tell from the way Sharp, Keith, Seabs, etc., still talk about him that he was a good teammate.

But I was surprised to see him playing at the start of the season. We were watching parts of the Oilers' opener and the hubby says, "Khabby is looking great for Edmonton tonight." And of course I responded with, "What, does he have two thousand mile long arms? How is he in goal for them from jail?"

with the combo of culli & scott on D and eberle & hall going to the net, the stars are aligning for multiple toe drag highlight goals/saves tonight.

Scott is scratched. Or at least he was the last one on the ice which usually means scratched.

and supposedly Campbell looks almost ready.
