I just hope we are not in for a let down after beating a great team like L.A. We seem to get that every now and then. And why is it that as soon as we hear Campbell is coming back soon, we have to lose another player. I don't wish it uppon any of our players but damm not my favorite player!

Does anyone know if Bullin wall is in net for the Oilers in net today?

I'm already let down that we are calling the Kings a great team. What has this league come to.

Well they are eerily similar to the Hawks 2-3 years ago... I'd say they are a great team.

Yes, and yes. I just saw an article in ESPN the mag about them and that was the first thing I thought of. Basically the headline was that their three starts are all under 25.

I'd say they can be...we've seen the wheels fall off of talent alone before.

Depends if they continue to build around their core. Could they win the SC this year, SURE.

Quick

Doughty

Ryan Smith

Kopitar

Brown

Scudari (although he sucked the other night in Chicago).

They dominated the Stars last night for the most part. 2nd night back to back.

The Oilers on the other hand, they are were the Hawks were 3 years ago.....

No excuse to lose tonight, so that means we probably will.

Any Kings team playing without Doughty (as they were the other night vs us) is certainly not a great team. With Doughty, maybe you can use that descriptor. Even without Doughty, the Kings controlled play for large parts of that game, a disturbing sign.

I know it's Edmonton, but I want to see the boys outshoot an opponent in the third period for once and dominate the game completely. We haven't seen the former since game 1 and we haven't seen the latter since Columbus two weeks ago.

Ben Smith? Who? What? Does this mean the Pisani, Dowell, and Bickell line gets broken up? Don't do it Q!

Hawks win 4-2.

Doubt it. I'm guessing Smith will be on the 3rd line with Boland. Who again did not practice today. I wonder if his back is acting up. Would definitely explain his play as of late.

Coach Q: Brian Campbell is "doubtful" to play during the Blackhawks' upcoming road trip, but is traveling with the team.

Where did I see on here earlier that said Ben Smith was practicing on a line with Pisani and Dowell?

If Bolland's back is acting up - they need to move him....and quickly. A 3.375mil cap hit for a 30-40pt center that cant win faceoffs and back issues...

Lines for tonight:

Patrick Sharp/Jonathan Toews/Viktor Stalberg

Troy Brouwer/Tomas Kopecky/Patrick Kane

Fernando Pisani/Dave Bolland/Ben Smith

Bryan Bickell/Jake Dowell/Jack Skille

Good luck with all *that* Ben Smith!

Half NHL lineup, half AHL lineup. Perfect for the AHL Oilers.

Oh Deity. The last time somebody on the boards said we were playing a mostly AHL team it was the Avs (due to injuries) and, um, I didn't like that result.

Weren't people bitching about the lines before last game...and 3 of the 4 lines scored?

I think Q, the scouts, coaching staff...have somewhat of and idea what they're doing and have their reason for pulling him up.

There's really no pleasing some people.

I think everyone is kinda joking. It's not like the Hawks have a lot of choices, cap-wise.
