Stalberg/Toews/Kane
Kopecky/Sharp/Hossa
Brouwer/Bolland/Skille
Bickell/Dowell/Pisani
IMO that's how it should be. Yeah Kopecky has played like crap but he also has not played with Hossa since his return. Every now and then, Brouwer can pop into one of those lines while one of Kopecky/Stalberg drop to the 3rd line.
For the love of God, why the hell did Q break up his two most productive lines? Toews and Kane were most productive with the two games they played with Stalberg (10 points in two freaking games and he breaks them up?) then when Hossa comes back, he fails to place him where he was most productive... with SHARP AND KOPECKY. You know, when Hossa had 11 points in 11 games... Kopecky had 8 points in 11 games... and Sharp had like 15 points in 11 games? Anyone remember that... those were the days... three freakin' weeks ago!!
He wants to get them firing on all cylinders, then put together what works.
This is always how it should be: Kane with Toews... Hossa with Sharp. If things get stale, switch centers, Hossa with Toews, Kane with Sharp... why is that? Because all of them have chemistry. Don't fucking handcuff Hossa with Bolland and on top of that put Kane there (who has never had chemistry with Hossa, nor has he ever played well on the LW) and say "oh, well I tried, we just need to find something that works". It never worked before, so wtf is the use in trying it now?
With Toews/Kane and Sharp/Hossa, whoever plays on the opposite wing is riding shotgun. Its going to be a revolving door of Stalberg, Brouwer, and Kopecky all season, its just a matter of who is playing better IMO.
Its a simple concept, really, this isn't rocket science.
