Road trip excuses aren't going to fly. Hawks looked horrible tonight (even though I missed a bit of the game). And loved how they gave up late in the 3rd. Looked like a bunch of fucking diva cry babies. Not happy!! Never seen the Hawks give up like that. Just wow. WOW!!! Disgusting and they should be ashamed of themselves..yah I said it.



Not going to talk about this one too much...ahhh screw that yes I am. Let the excuses fly...bottom line is the team looks like shit and it is frustrating. Teams better than this even with the new faces (or maybe they aren't..sure the hell aint showing it). This is hard to watch. Anyone who doesn't think the team has looked horrible take the blinders off. This team is in trouble this season. If the cup last year makes it easier to swallow then so be it. Doesn't take away from the fact that things are horribly wrong this year. No signs that things will get better yet. Same old mistakes all over the place. This team has no identity right now and it sucks.

I don't like seeing the whole team look so lethargic. No one seemed to have any jump. The only bright spot seemed to be the fourth line. The third line was brutal. Brouwer only played about 5 minutes and that was all he deserved. But the whole team was awful I don't want to bash Brouwer. How many odd man rushes today? It was brutal.

Maybe they shot their wad in the Oiler game and thought they could coast through this game, after all they have had the Flames number for a few years already. Does this team think they don't need to give it 100% every game, have they become too complacent and overconfident? Considering how much like ass they've played for most part this year, one has to think even the dullest bulb in the group would have caught on to the fact that playing half-assedly isn't going to cut it.

If I start hearing the excuse that its the line juggling causing the team to look like dung so far this year I will blow myself up. Superstar players should be able to produce and play hockey with whoever and whatever linemates are thrown at them (I'll give a little pass on that statement when Kane gets used as a LW that is just flat out shitty coaching). Get paid like the big boys you better freaking play like the big boys. That means not taking shifts off and not stopping to admire your passes...skate you turds!!!! When a 4th line is constantly out performing the top lines you know you have some issues. And it goes waaaaaay beyond coaching.



Hate to say it but it appears to me some of our guys may have some inflated egos? I don't know but it sure has looked like it a little bit. Wanna play lazy hockey go ahead but you aren't getting sympathy from me and I sure the hell am not going to point my fingers at coaching. Effort on the ice has stunk all year. No consistancy..ZERO..NONE.



Tonight should be an eye opener. Was written clearly on the wall that the energy and the want just isn't there with some of these guys this season. Take the fucking beer bottles out of their hands..don't let them ride in any limos while in Vancouver and ground them like the 11 year olds they are playing like.

And yah the 3rd line sucks balls. Knew that was going to be the case when we traded it away in the offseason. Still no excuse for the lack luster performances from the top guys so far this year. Just ehfing sad.

I don't know, I thought Toews and Sharp were pretty good tonight. Hossa hasn't looked the same since he came back and Kane looked like he had a hot date after the game.



And agreed. The best thing about this is that they play again tomorrow, no time to think about it. Obviously the effort needs to be a lot better.

This is bugging me to no end. No one is willing to go to the hard areas and take the punishment, it's all circling around the perimeter and shooting shots that either hits someone on the way causing a turn-over or simply wide or that dumb drop-pass instead of taking the shot or doing that extra really low percentage pass instead of shooting when having an open lane. And the bombing from the point crap isn't really working, but yet they keep doing it. Adjust if something isn't working instead of running headfirst into the same wall over and over again. Doing the same thing again and again and expecting different results is one sign of insanity. The results is all that matters, not how it looks getting it.
