No reason I can think of for us to lose this one.

I can think of one: Hendry, Pisani, and Scott will be a line tonight.

That, indeed, is scary....scarier than the graphic of Brodeur above.

I don't have a problem with Scott; I think he's been better the last few games he's played.

Uptown baby!
Yet Hjarlmarssons been worse than any of the above.

You got that right! It's been WAY disappointing to see that so far he has not been able to step up/elevate his game, calm the **** down and anchor a goddamn D-pairing. You know, contribute? So just like when The Ginge was out last season if Nik doesn't get to play with him his game becomes seemingly non-existent and basically he plays like he's lost his everfuckinglasting hockey mind out there.

He was to busy farting.

Agreed Book. Hopefully Campbell coming back will settle him down. How ironic last year Hjarlmarsson was used to settle Campbell down, or was he?

Yeah, Hjalmarsson's complete regression season-to-date has taken me quite by surprise---that is certainly not one of the many looming hiccups I envisioned to start off the season even once the Campbell injury became a factor. I really was never thinking that the $3.5 mil D-man would NEED the $7.5 mil D-man as if his very hockey playing life depended on it. Eh, not like fans can do anything about player funks so all I can do is hope for the Hawks and his own sake that Nik turns it around soon.

As scary as that is, it seems like Kovalchuck has been as much of a factor as Hammer has for us. I think Parise is gone. Their D is about as effective as ours was very early in the season and it seems like Brodeur can't bail their team out now.

Besdies, I don't think that line will see much ice time.

With Sharp on fire, Toews and Kane looking like they are coming around, I think as long as the team actually shows up it should be a good shot for a win.

If I didn't post it, someone else would have.

But but but but.... they have Kovalchuk and Fatso!

Fatso being the best goalie in the history of the game. Small minor detail.

Kovalchuck being in the top 10 forwards in the league currently. Small minor detail.

Numbers might not be good right now, but there is no denying the MASSIVE talent of either player.

Slam either one all you want their credentials speak for themselves. Especially "Fatso's".

There is a different between having talent and being a good team, you only have to look at all the talent on the Hawks to realize that. While we aren't a bad team. We aren't clicking yet.

Never said anything about either of their talent which speaks for itself. Just don't like either of them.
