I've noticed the Hawks are playing essentially a triangle +1. So one guy is running around amongst the points, while the other sits in the slot. Puck switches sides, the two PK forwards try and shift, but not always. In theory it could work if you are trying to take away cross ice passes or teams that play a 1-3-1, but now you've essentially rendered your slot forward useless and the opponents point guys are allowed to find shooting lanes much easier.
Go back to the box, and if you want to drop that high guy down a bit, fine. But to completely take him out of the play without any pressure is a recipe for disaster.

The PK looks exactly how it did two seasons ago. Go back and read the threads and you'll see that triangle +1 being ripped to shreds by the board....

Not only is it easier to find shooting lanes, there is WAY too much room for the points to walk in.... I just don't get it.
