Dont worry STU, haters gotta now come up with something else to ***** about.

This team has no heart, too soft, no character...boring to watch...blah blah blah....

They were written off by a bunch of "fans" over the last few months, and now...like you say...on the brink of 4th place

So don't be shocked when now they need to cry about a guy that played 5min tonite - and didnt hurt the team - actually did well. I bet his teammates appreciated his game tonite.

I enjoyed watching Scott smacking that ugly Wild face around tonight. I'm sure the boys enjoyed watching it also.

Good game tonight by the Hawks. Got a little scary in the 3rd but you could tell they were starting to feel the back to back a little. Giant PK tonight and the top line was flying out there.

Keep it rolling boys. Looking good these days.

Someone does need to instruct the NHL officials as to what icings are though.

+1000

At least I never said no heart... I said no team toughness, which was shown tonight by John Scott. Who cares if it was "bump" it was a no-no and Staubitz should have swallowed teeth for it and he should be thankful for the linesmen.

John Scott has never hurt the team he was just no Burish/Eager/Fraser type of 4th line player that "fans" were used too last season. Sorry but not all teams get spoiled with the 4th line we had last year.

Oh well.... haters gonna hate, even when a player does well.... must be some sad individuals.

Looking forward to RK's comments in regards to Scott sticking up for Campbell. I would ASSume it boded well for the locker room.

Personally...I never understood the lack of toughness either.

I don't see anyone on this team shy away from contact. I see their small/skill players still skate in traffic areas/go to the net. I've seen guys played not 100% and battle to come back when not fully ready.

Quite a bit of toughness involved in that - not just fights.

LOL....yeah, there's quite a few people that have bitched/given up on this team at the 30-40-50 game marks.

I guess winning the fucking Stanley Cup with the core group of these guys doesnt buy them the full 82gms to get back there.

Q's got these guys going and maybe starting to hit their stride at the right time. These D pairings look great too.

Nope John Scott was supposed to lose the game tonight... who knows what he's going to do to this team when he's back in the press box once Campoli gets here.

I agree. Still miss Sopel more than anyone. Preference and somewhat truthful.

51-7

2-8

4-Campoli.

^Back to just as solid as any D-core if you ask me. Especially with Leddy playing like he has, the kid gets better every game. Tonight what I caught he looked good, especially in the replay that Versus loved of him "getting hit" by Clutterfuck. That was made into a love tap by Leddy.

His best game cause he took himself out with that fight.

OK, I laughed. hahahahaha

Can't do that every night. Two games in a row, back to back, skating 5 dmen will kill someone after a few weeks like that!

Thought Scott was fine but we won this game because our Stars, were our Stars.

They lose a game here the doom and gloom will come back. IT's nice to see the team finally getting it.

They could still catch the Wings.

So sorry I did not get to watch this game live with the rest of ya's. I found this game higly entertaining. The first was great with both teams showing great pace. I was really impressed with some of the back checking by the Hawks, noteably plays made by Bolland, Frolick, and Toews. I thought that Scott had a fine game. Somehow the coaches found spots for him where he did not need handle the puck to much. He was cautious and stayed where he needed to be. Anyone see him out of posistion? I also thought he found a great spot to fight. He complained earlier that he is loosing his edge because of no combatants. Here he found a spot and did not hurt his team, rather showed Campbell some love. Frolick is getting closer. Hossa is waking. Kaner is sober. And Johnny is beastly. Oh, Sharps ok too

Go Hawks, absolutely loved the game tonight.

Yea but those of us that didn't look a lot smarter now. Still a ways to go but this team has figured it out. Now they need to do it for about three more months.

With the Wings winning (assuming they do 4-1 now) Hawks are 5th all alone even though tied in pts. With a game in hand on Pheonix and one against Calagary a pt behind us.

Still a LONG way to go. 38pts up for grab.

7-1-2

Nice time of the year to gel!

Sopel was as slow as molases....and not nearly worth 2.3mil.

They don't need that anchor back there. Just a 5th Dman that can play some PK/PP...15-16min a game, and I think Campoli is going to fit in nicely. All Soupy needs is someone that's mobile. His first year he got stuck with Walker and Barker...ugh. Campoli's game may hit another level.

Definately a long way to go...but you can start seeing the confidence and swagger.

Toews burying that goal from that sick feed from Kane. Hossa...no mistake. Kopecky, getting a greasy goal at the net. Big players...making big plays....like defending Cup Champs.

Good to see Hoss getting going...isnt that 4 in 4?

Make sure I'm not on this list...because I was one of a few in her along with RK that said enough with this bullshit of its over, no heart crap..what we need is positive blogs, support your team. I can name a few that started that crap but I'm not ( PukJim ). I I said we were going to get 6 points out of this and 2 more left. Great game! core is playing like they should. Refs blew a big one on us on that two on one hooking that was not called. Anyone seen browy.

Very much agree, I like our speed lately and the mistake free passing in our zone, that was what was so important in our game play last year and seems like they are finding it. I was suprised to see Craw in net and not Turco. And RK I was also wondering if the Wings won, would we have sole position of 5th and realized we had game in hand so we would, but you also answered it. Can't wait for the Flamers game.
