LOL

YOur perception of intimidation means shit. He was getting out of the way. As a TEAM, no "TEAM" is intimidated by another. YOu can throw all the shit you want out there, but the FACT you have no clue what these guys feel is quite evident. None of them were worried about the big, bad 21st team in the league in hits, Bruins.

Campbell has shyed away from hits all year. Part of his injury.

Because the hit statistic is a great indicator of team toughness and how hard they are to play against. Right? I guess Vancouver are big and bad, seeing as they are top 10 in hits. And if the Bruins aren't big and bad being 21st in the NHL in the Hawks, what are the Hawks at 27th?

You're right RK, and everyone else is wrong. Because you talk to the players, and I'm sure they'd tell you if they were intimidated by another player out there on the ice. Something they probably wouldn't even admit to their mothers. There, happy? That's the point of every discussion that takes place on this board anyway. RK is always right.

Talk to or know? WHich is it. Because the specific player you are talking about I know. Pretty fucking well. Infact both of the players you mentioned I know. I don't just "talk" to them. Then again Pez you are always right because "you play the game"... LOL see what I did there?

And the Canucks have a bunch of physical guys that finish their checks. Just like the Bruins.

Oh no the Hawks were "scared" of the big bad Bruins, Oh my!

Had nothing to do with playing their 3rd game in 4 nights after a night MOST of the Stars double shifted to an OT game.

It was all "intimidation"..... Yup!

And FYI I've only seen two people remotely say anything about intimidation and you were the ONLY one to really suggest it. So Everyone else is you. Good group.

I pulled a stat yesterday... again, RK is talking about AS A COMPLETE TEAM.

36.5% of Boston's hits 593/1625 are from Chara/Lucic/Thornton/Seidenberg. Take those hits out and replace them with the average D-Man's hits and forwards hits they could be last in hitting.

3-4 players on the Bruins are big and bad... the rest of the team not as much except that idiot McQuaid.

I didn't say they lost because they were intimidated, but saying that NHL players are never intimidated by anyone is a load of crap.

As a team Tony. As a TEAM!

Now five years ago, every TEAM intimidated the Hawks, as a TEAM.

I also think Star players, IE Kane, Toews, ect ect are very less intimidated by almost anyone on the ice.

in·tim·i·date - 1. To make timid; fill with fear.

Sorry...you don't make it to the NHL intimidated. Campbell or a player may bail/peel away not wanting to get hit or put themselves in a vulnerable position - but that doesnt make them scared or intimadated by any means. A player wouldnt get out of Jr's or College if they're scared.

This is exactly right, Campbell is exceptional at shifting away at the last split second to avoid a hit, on the boards especially. That does not make him a pussy, why take a hit if you can dodge it without having an effect on the outcome of the play?

And as for what was said to Thornton don't call it trash talking unless you know EXACTLY what was said.

Lets all say what we think was said to him:

"It's that time of the month already?"

"Your Va Jay Jay sprung a leak!"

I don't believe it really had much to do with what was said from the Hawks bench. He was just pissed that he thought since he was bleeding that the Hawks deserved a penalty and did not get one. Hell, it was his big, heavy noggin that found the skate blade in the first place. He should have called a penalty on himself for having a limp neck.

Who gives a rats ass who's intimadated or whos not. I think as a team no they are not, but individually certain players can be..thats why certain players shy away from checks and fights. Regardless, goone teams don't last in playoffs and history shows ala, Nucks, Boston, etc. If we play smart and get in teams heads thats what wins.

RK, as far as Sharp I ment to say he will be skating by Sunday. I said he will be back by Detroits game away.

J. Scott on S. Thornton "chirping" charges: "He's more than welcome to come chirp at me. I'll kick the shit out of him"

We'll see. He was limping pretty good on Saturday without the brace.

They don't want to push him and at this point shouldn't.

Yep, Adam Jahns quoted him on Twitter.

Q actually has to put him in the line up first.

Dumb for Q not to have Scott and Turco in the line up in Boston. Also dumb for him to double shift the shit out of his stars. I understand wanting to make the playoffs, but I also understand having DEAD spent players by the time you get there too.

I know I know PMX we have two injuries. That doesn't have anything to do with him icing Pisani over Scott. Both are pretty much useless but one at least had fresh legs. Nor does it say anything about giving Crawford a rest and Turco a start.

Even though Scott won't be here next year probably and he certainly won't be playing the Hawks met the Bruins in the Finals. But it's stuff like this that I imagine the team loves to hear from a guy like Scott.

RK is right... absolutely stupid to play Pisani over Scott against a team like the Bruins.

TimSassone: More Scott: "He was kind of being cheap that game, so whatever - he gets what comes to him."
