yah right i saw the BJ's pull the same shit the Hawks were being called for in the 1st 2 periods yet no calls on them. Officiating was not good tonight in my opinion. And I rarely ***** about officiating. 3rd period the BJ's got away with a few too (not saying we didn't Kane got away with a huge hold). But yah **** me Johnson was tripped about 4 times that game..no calls. And what was that interfernce and clutching and grabbing on Toews all night? Looked like 1998 hockey out there at times against us.
Hammer made the dumbest play of the night though. Hands down.
Can't look like a good team when you on the penalty kill for over half the first 2 periods. I don't think the Hawks looked that bad otherwise to be honest. And frankly the PK was pretty good. Weren't going to kill that 5 on 3. Never do when it's a bone headed delay of game call that gets you the second penalty.

Kaner was the only guy in the shoot out that approached the goalie with any speed (not including Chris Destallberg). Was the starngest shoot out I have seen in a long time. Guys were coasting to the goalies. I thought Kaner was going to nail that one.
Why bash on Kaner though at all? Kid played outstanding tonight.

LOL no one is bashing him nimrod! How often does he do forehand backhand? 90% of the time? Not hard for goalies to figure out... in fact I was praising him all game.

Lick me dinga ling. Kaner score a goal and an assist goies plus 2 and carries the offensive play for most of the night and works pretty damn hard on the back end of the game (even though his hold in the 3rd was uncalled it was freaking awsome lol) and all I hear is "Kane needs a new move on the shoot out". BLAH!!! If not for Kane the game doesn't go to a freaking shoot out.
Of all the things to bring up about tonights game..."Kane needs a new move on the shoot out". LAME!!!!!!

Big two points. Ugly game but a win is a win. On a side note can we stop with all the fucking turnovers? Keith and Campbell especially today were out of hand. Campbell almost gave it away right in front of Crawford with 15 seconds left. Gotta stop being so careless.
