Sorry but that is a joke.

I don't find it to be a joke at all.

Hejda elbowed Kruger in the face, on purpose. It could have been a much more serious injury.

Wow the officials suck....wanna call something on the fucking BJ's or what?

BJ's had 6 PPs to the Hawks 1 in the 2nd & 3rd periods. Ridiculous!

Lot's of Hawks fans at the game last night. Was really loud behind the Hawks bench. You can see me in a Red Toews Jersey & Stanley Cup ballcap between A BJ & Wangs fan at the 22 minute mark of the Comcast broadcast during a pitch for the Blackhawks Roadshow.

I didn't even see a penalty. Kruger had his head down and Hejda leveled him. Keep your head up kid, you are playing with the big boys now!

The elbow to Kruger's head was similar to the elbow to Bolland's head. Different angle, and obviously a different result.

I did, the ref did, Seabs did, and the league did.

True Kruger should have had his head up but that doesn't mean it's open season for Hejda to elbow him, on purpose, in the face. If Kruger would have suffered a concussion, the same people who have been saying someone needs to get even with Kubina on Sunday would be saying the same thing about this.

How does Hejda get suspended when Bertuzzi didn't?

Hun, did you move or something? You are always going to see them play the Jackets.

I'm in living (temporarily) in Toledo, OH till the end of July, then back to Olympia, WA. I've seen both Hawks games in Detroit and two in Columbus. We're 4-0 in games I've been to.

I'll also be at the Joe on the 8th.

I suggest you re watch the play. He catches Kruger in teh FACE with his elbow. Luckily Kruger wasn't injured.

You get elbowed in the face like that and then tell yourself to keep your head up. His head WAS UP he was ELBOWED IN THE FACE!

He caught him in the face with his elbow because Kruger was bent over and ran into it, his head was down and he lifted it at the last second and ate an elbow. It was not because Hejda raised his elbow. It's a bullshit suspension, it's not like I'm going to convince everyone here due to the bias but whatever.

The Kubina hit has no comparison to this one. The Bertuzzi hit was worse as well, no suspension.

It's too bad Hejda didn't say sorry, he wouldn't have been suspended. (Chara/Bertuzzi)

It was a penalty but I think no suspension was warranted.

Look, I understand why a penalty was called, but I thought it was borderline. To me it could have been called either way, I didn't think they were going to call anything but I was happy they did, however I'm shocked there is a suspension.

What really ticked me off was the knee-on-knee with Stalberg... should have been a major and a game! That was DIRTY!

You are surprised? After all this hit to the head and concussion stuff? Really?

He elbowed him in the face! Period. No question. Re watch the play if you are seriously questioning it. I just watched it about 10 times and there is no doubt why they suspended him.

Bertuzzi most definitely deserved at least a game as well. Keep your stick on the ICE and plays like that will not happen.

Blaming Kruger because of the angle he was skating. Assinine...

They are paying attention to head shots right now so don't bother making them multi task. Hjarlmarsson could have been gone for the year as a result of the "emotional" Thorntons knee and there was no call.

Giordano takes out Ryan at the END of the game the other day, clear intent to take him and his knee out, no suspension there either.

The NHL officials "entity" can not be asked too much. You'll over load them and they won't then be able to tell what a goal off a HIGH STICK is....
