Like I said consistency and NHL will never work in the same sentence. It's not possible.
Never the less all THREE of those instance deserved some type of penalty OTHER than what was, or was not in the latter two cases, called.
If your elbow purposely makes it UP to someones face, you are not playing clean. Period.

The way I see it, the reason why NHL is not looked at as the same level of sport at a like NFL or baseball is because of dumb rules that are input in this league.Inconsistency as it its highest in the nhl..one game you might see a call reversed on a goal that looks like on replay it should stand..and the very next day on another game you might see a goal stand that clearly should not have stand..the NFl is not perfect by any means. but calls are made made on the field are reviewed at more measures. Yes it might delay a game for a while. But 90% of the time they get it corrected. T love the NHL but its run by a bunch of clowns that they themselves have no clue about what they are inputing in the leauge, not to mention some of the refs they hire should not even be driving with their sight.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, The NHL has to many rules that should not be part of the game and not enough rules to keep players safe. I think they have to many rules involving if goals are good or not.

Yea. He and I have a little history. Off the ice most of these guys, like the players, aren't bad guys. It's just the inconsistent way they do their jobs ON THE ICE that burns me. Bill was one of them for sure.
Just wait till the Nepetism kicks in and Koharsky's kid gets here. He truely sucks...
