Rotten to the "core". Team has checked out. Better luck next season.

Edit: Figured I would clarify my "core" comment before I get flamed. It is obvious to everyone watching that these guys are, physically and emotionally, running on E. There's just nothing left. They've all been pretty fucking bad in these three games, without exception. I don't think I've seen Toews coast more in his entire career here in Chicago, than he's done in this series. His "effort" on the "backcheck" on the game winning goal was absolutely pathetic. Kane's passing is completely off. Keith has been a disaster all season. Seabrook is getting caught non-stop. Hossa, invisible. Sharp, playing on a busted knee, but certainly the best of our core right now. Hammer has had a terrible season. These guys all need a good, long offseason to rest and regroup.

I'm going to pretty much agree with this. Wait till you guys hear the list of injuries. Get this over so you can have several months of rehabilitation.

Hopefully Stan can possible get rid of some cap space and retool the 3rd and 4th and find a fucking Center. I have little hope in Stan though and know Haviland will probably leave for Florida.

Will be interesting.

Yah maybe not seeing the things the cameras dont pick up.

I would have agreed with you before the game tonight. They have not changed, just not taking the runs at players they did last year AFTER the whistle. They are still running the players when they don't have the puck though. The NHL JUST started calling that tonight and we still couldn't win.

Why I agree with Pez I just don't think they have much left in the tank.

Toews

Sharp

Brouwer

Hossa

Bolland

Kopecky

Just off the top of my head. Two of those I believe will need some type of surgery. I'm guessing on one of the two.

What crystallized the utter lack of building a team by this GM is the following...

1)Frolik turnover along the boards leading to a Samulesson chance the hit the post

2)Scott stupid penalty

3)Complete and absolute horseshit misplay by Leddy after a Stalberg turnover that led to a Van goal. A Vancouver goal in which Stalberg did not pick up the goal scorer.

And what do those 4 players have in common?

Reverse synergism= a Junior Bowman NHL team

Leddy had as good as a playoff series as any rookie blueliner could have given. He was good tonight until that play also. Leddy was not an issue in this series in my humble opinion. If he was he ranks maybe at #23 for concerns.

Leddy and Campoli are 2 of the Bowman guys that I think helped this club (love to see them both next season). The other guys? Not even close..they were cap casualty fillers. Not sure if anyone, including Stan, want to see return.

My biggest fear is that the Hawks lose Havi to another team. I think Kitchen is absolutely Special person, and I think Q is massively overrated. I also have my doubts about Stan finding the right guys to bring in to fix this mess. Campoli was a good pickup, so I do still have a little bit of hope. Stalberg, Frolik, Pisani, Scott, Taffe, Johnson, Boynton, Cullimore? **** me. Have ANY of the guys Stan brought in over the offseason and this season impressed you guys? I can't say they have.

Not surprised by this list of players. I think you forgot Campbell though..def has something in his foot bothering him. Hossas shoulder acting up again or is it the vertigo?

Rk its ok if people disagree with what they see in a team. Not everyone thinks like you buddy. As far as Ton, He has an open mind and can see someone's point even if he may not agree with him, unlike someone in here that just cause he knows someone, that means he knows it all. What did I say that was so different the what people are saying. But I am a dumbfuck and a Troll. Wow I dealt with this shit in highschool. You must still be living it

Have you noticed the troubles Leddy has behind the goal line when facing the wall? That play where he was beaten badly is not the 1st time that's happened. Same play happened in the world jrs when he overplayed a forward.

The Hawks left every last thing they had on the ice tonight. They're gassed, in every sense of the word. They just didn't have enough to hang with Vancouver in the series. Unfortunately, they struggled out of the gate this year, which I think was to be expected of a team with so much roster turnover. However, I don't think any of us expected them to have to fight so hard down the stretch just to make the playoffs, and the final months were so grueling, and the toll it took on the group shows. I'll never forget what this team gave us last year, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. The bright side is that this team has a core that can contend for years to come. We all know that this team can and hopefully will bring a couple more magical summers to us, but the magic just wasn't here this year. We were all spoiled with the group that was put together last year, and that makes it harder to swallow the pill that is being down 3-0 to a team that the Hawks have beat 2 years in a row.

He argues with you all the time. Don't think I don't know that.

Again you were called a dumbfuck for calling people Fools, Retards and Fucking Children. If you are not "Intelligent" enough to see that then oh well.

Glad you graduated High School. I might have questioned that with some of your posts.

On advise I'm going to block you now so replying to my posts is really moot. I'd explain Moot, but I have no time for Law School as well.

Yea but he was thrust into this position, IE playing in the NHL right off the bat. He'll get better as he goes along. Don't you think?

Where was our Norris winning defenseman at on that goal? Yes, Leddy misplayed it, but Keith completely screwed the pooch. Crawford had the shooter, and with where Leddy was, the Canuck player had nowhere to go. Keith HAS to have the guy in front of the net in that situation. He just fucking has to. There's no excuse. We had FOUR Hawks in the zone on that goal, and only TWO Canucks attacking. They scored on a fucking 2 on 4 man, and it was almost entirely because of Keith having his head up his ass.

Of course Leddy has problems behind the goal line. He just turned 20! How many defensemen have the skills and size at that age to be world beaters? Leddy has a bright future. It's idiotic to shit on him, given how our VETERAN defensemen have played. Campbell handles those situations even WORSE, and he's been in the fucking league forever. The goal in game two at the end of the period was directly a result of Campbell being completely and utterly hopeless along the wall against an opposing forward. His inability to step into a forward and break up the cycle has killed us since he got here.

After the Nucks scored their 2nd goal, there was a draw in the Hawks zone(non-icing) and Q sent Frailik to take the draw with Leddy on the ice. Of course Frolik lost the draw, Van shot the puck from the point and Leddy was lost in the corner. Just brilliant.

Other than Campoli, no.

Oh, and after the Sharp goal, the Hawks should have had another 4 minutes or so of PP time, so thanks a lot NHL officials!

I am not worried about losing Havi, I wonder if they would keep Kitchen. I mean I wouldn't mind a fresh new staff if Havi leaves. It can't gey any worse. We need to get someone that can be good with PP's thats for sure. Torch wasn't great at PP's but I felt like it was at least a bit better. Its funny how we were #1 in power plays this year but felt far from it. That is key for nesxt year. I feel very pleased optomistic for next year. I think we will be back on top.
