I figured, Seabrook is a fucking warrior. So is Scott replacing Kruger?

I refuse to believe again until they win the cup.

All I am saying is I just dont want to be let down again, after shitting the bed for 3 games, I came to terms with us losing the series. I'm not going to get my hopes up until the series is 3-2 and then well yeah we will send them golfing the 3rd year straight....see dammit I'm hoping again...

The Hawks showed the Canucks last night what their team is capable of when it fires on full cylinders--even when beat up and missing Seabs-- who has been bar none the best Dman on the team lately. I find it funny that certain Campbell haters have stopped writing their posts this morning.

The puck found Bolland, and Bolland found the puck last night. It's amazing how his line was just shutting it down all night. It gave me chills.

It looked liked Lou never got comfy in net last night-- even though he did make some amazing saves to prevent the Hawks from seeing a double digit goal night. I also enjoyed Q keeping the firepower on the ice late into the game-- even on the very last PP. Good-- sends a nice message.

Will the Hawks win this series? Doubtful. But last night they let the Canucks know they were there.

Kruger has to be the odd man oot then. Smith has earned it imo same with Johnson.

edit: not that Kruger hasn't earned it; it's just that he was the last new comer

Kruger was a non-factor last night and even looked unsure of himself at times from what I recall.

Stu, write this one down for the record books -- Scott looked good last night -- there, I've said it. Now, that doesn't mean he has to play again Thursday, but, I wouldn't argue it. He just needs to keep his head and not yap himself out of the game.

LOL I love ribbing you about Scott... I know you don't really hate him that much. I agree with you about yapping... I said before the game that if he chirps on a faceoff he was just going to get tossed and it happened.

As long as they leave it on the ice every game and extact a pound of flesh (so to speak) from the Casucks I'll be content, regardless of the final outcome. Just don't fucking quit. Make those cry baby hacks pay dearly.

Yeah some of us are just naturally pessimists. I always think the worst with my teams. I try not to but I do sometimes. I usually don't post on here when I think we suck. Anyway Bolland is just a beast in the playoffs. If he didn't catch that elbow who knows where the Hawks would be. But he owned that second period. But this games shows how bad Van is. They had no killer instinct. If they are so hungry for the cup as all the "experts" keep saying they would have come out flying. They will probably beat the Hawks but Detroit will own them.

I admit, I let my emotions get the best of me and post them, usally I am pretty good at holding them back, and did for the majority of the season when we were down, but sometimes it hard not expressing how you feel and what direction you see this team going, thats just the love for this team and wanting them to do better. But trying not to post when a team is doing bad doesn't sound like a bad idea. I will try that in efforts of not piss anyone off. And some of you I have and I do appoliges. I will not mention names they know who they are.

As for the game, I was one for Bolland playing and it was a great move. As far as Lou, during the interview he did not blame getting hurt as an excuse of the goals scored against...wow. If we win game 5, I think this series will go 7 and anything can happen. Game five is always the hardest in my opinion. I also heard on the radio, from someone that called in, said that his girl friend was serving drinks till 4 in the morning on Monday night to the Nucks players. So that could be the reason why they were out of it and wanted to win this at home. If that is true that has to be one of the dumbest thing a team does in the playoffs. If it is true I don't blame the loss on that, since it was Monday morning at 4 that means they went out on sunday night.

one shift at a time, one Period at a time, One bolland per a sedin package.

Bad feeling about this one too... as many have said the Hawks just have nothing left in the tank. Whether it be the extra 2 months of hockey they had to play last year or whatever... I think this one is a blowout by the Nucks and some goonery happens at the end if that's the case.

Who knows... maybe we've lulled the Nucks into a false sense of security and we put up 7 on Luongo and the downward spiral begins?

Whatever... even if the Hawks get the win... it just seems like it's delaying the inevitable.

I hope Torres gets his btw...

He displayed it proudly throughout the entire game and panned all the sections for all to see.

Well done, curious to know if Rocky made a comment or any officals. Ron did say that the Canucks definitely were aware of the sign.

Holy crap was last night awesome. I need to go to more games with no expectations!!!!

Something tells me Toews finds the net Thursday, along with Kane.

Yes, Rocky said well done with the sign.

Andy Mcellman was there and we chatted about it, but I know him pretty well. For those who don't know him he's local here in IL and an NHL Linesman. My neighbor accross the street is related through marriage.

None of the officials ON ICE wanted any part of the sign. During the game, and or After the game. They did how ever read it!

The REF YOU SUCK sign was taken by the STH two rows down from us. He had fun with it.

All in all if the season ends now that was by far the BEST GAME of them all this year. We had the best time of the season last night. FUN FUN FUN!!!

You mean the second line center who I've been referring to as our second line center all along? You mean, Patrick Sharp, right? No, we don't need a second line center. HE IS OUR SECOND LINE CENTER. If he's not, Bolland sure as **** can be. The difference in this game tonight, was Bolland. He came out with his NASTY attitude. Threw a big hit on his first shift, threw an elbow, and the rest of the team followed in his footsteps. Bolland is HUGE for this team. Any thoughts of trading him, or Sharp, need to be thrown in the fucking garbage where they belong. Bolland is the anti-Sedin. They were like -3 and -4 tonight...

You mean the left winger that has played center all season. Sharp is 48% in the dot. we need a 2nd line center to let sharp move back to wing.

Brilliant team performance last night, but Bolland was huge. Hopefully the Nucks are rattled now. Keep it up for tomorrow night guys.

Sharp has not played Center all season. For a good portion he was with JT and Kane.

last night was the first time this playoff series he had Sharp at Center. While I agree with you I'd like a true Center, which Sharp isn't, Q is an idiot for not playing him there earlier instead of Frolik who is even MORE not a Center than Sharp.

I'd like a true 2nd line Center which Sharp is NOT. But if that option is not available Sharp will work as a "bandaid".

Sharp has not been playing Center all year though. Which is one of the problems with Q IMO. He can play center but I do not want a player playing Center who doesn't feel comfortable there.

Similar to Hossa and Kane on the same line. They both are COMFORTABLE on the right side because they are both left handed. Coaches just can't change that on a whim. It doesn't work that way.

So I agree and disagree with what Pez is saying.

What a thouroughly enjoyable game last night. The Canucks where nearly shut out. Their first one as very lucky. I am disgusted with Bieksa that ****** is such a coward, I did not see that being too far from what Betuzzi did years ago. I know it was different but basically he jumped a weaker, unsuspecting player and pummeled him. The refs made a huge mistake in removing Scott from the game, he was the deterent. With him removed, the cowards appear.

I know John is not our greatest skater but I think he is pretty smart on Defense applying the KISS method, he does not try to make any fancy manouvers he just gets the puck over the blue line and let the others carry on.

I am hoping that Seabs is able to return for game 5, it would be nice to see him kick the shit out of someone.
