Guys, Im starting to really worry about Hammers decision making on the ice at time. Seems like every game now he eather takes a costly penalty or is turns it over for a goal. That can't happen in the playoffs. Yesterday's decision to go to the bench was deadly on that 2nd goal that Yoshie scored on.

2nd goal was on Campoli. Oshi was his guy. Had not one thing to do with Hjarlmarsson.

Hammer waited too long to make a change. It was his guy and he left late for the change.

I just don't see it. I watched it three times just now. Hjarlmarsson is there, changes but Campoli is right there. Rink outlet pass hard to blame Hjralmarsson for the change IMO.

Similar to Keith to Toews to end the game.

RK even Eddio noticed the late change when the replay of the goal was shown, that was his man, from what I saw he was right there in postion.

He also said that Hossa's goal would be overturned.

No Check is an idiot. I don't ever listen to him.

It was coming right at me. Hjarlmarsson changed and Campoli was there. Good pass to Oshi, which was also a PP.

Maybe Hjarlmarsson left early but just because Eddie said something it doesn't mean anything. He's an idiot.

Not sure if he looked shakey. He actually looked really good for a guy playing on a bruised knee. Sharp is a heart and gutts player and i think he showed and proved it again tonight. He was limping on that knee pretty bad in the 3rd period and what does he do. He goes out and throws a huge hit and grinds his ass off. This club needs to remove that A from Keiths jersey and staple it and glue it to Sharps chest. No player showed more gutts than Sharp tonight and frankly I think he inspired the rest of the team with his work ethic and passion. I dont think this team wins tonight without Sharp being an example out there.

Sharp is the most under-rated player on this club. Even for those of us who know how important he is...i still think we under value him. Right now I think he is just as valuable as Kane and Toews up front. Crazy thinking this. I don`t know if I am or not. I honestly think Sharp is just that valuable and I think the way he played tonight and what he showed solidifies my feelings about him. If Toews wasn`t on this club I would have no problems calling Patrick Sharp team captain.

Campoli is just a natural fit here. I enjoy watching every shift he plays. If it was Campolis best game as a Hawk (I wouldn`t argue against that) I think it was Leddy`s also. Even though I didn`t like how he and Keith were outmuscled on the 3rd blues goal..but that was Keiths doing all the way.

Keith is just a piss off night in and night out. I am tried of talking about him. Just a bizzar bizzar season for him.

I agree with everything you just said. Everyone talks about Toews, Kane, Keith, and Seabrook, but I think Sharp is just as important to this team as they are. I don't see any way you can let Sharp walk after next season. Let him retire here. He's as much the heart of this team as the rest of those guys. When he banged that knee last night, I thought for sure he was done for the rest of the game. Especially with the way he was limping off the ice. But, sure enough, he was right back out there next shift. Balls. Huge fucking balls. The Hawks had a noticeable jump to their game after that sequence, when Sharp went back out next shift.

Yes, I think I love Patrick Sharp as much as my wife does.

P.S. Who the **** is Stuart? Stuart Little? It's Chris STEWART guys. It's on his fucking jersey.

Honestly, I'm more worried about Keith. 80 giveaways, tied for 6th in the league and leads the team. Hammer only has 55.

Duncan has been having a shitastic year and like I will say as I have the last few years, he's not that great of a defensemen. Sure he can put up some points, but his defensive play/positioning is terrible. We definitely overpaid to keep him.

In reference to keeping Sharp next season...

It would be great to have Sharpie for the 2011-2012 season, but where do you come up with the money he is worth? Don't get me wrong, I've been a Sharpie hater for a while, but the last few seasons he has been playing amazing and the fact that he can score 40 goals a season easily, I believe he's worth more then he's getting paid, which the Hawks can't afford next season.

Sharp has another year on his contract. He's not up until 2012-13.

Keiths cap hit is just over 5 mil per year. He's not over paid.

Like RK had mentioned I never thought this game was going to be easy, the way the blues played with the last 7 games going 5-1-1 along with putting up many goals on the board. We did what we had to do, and we came out on top. Lets get the Wings thread up and focus whats coming up with a hurt Wings team.

You are all welcome, I stopped watching on TV when it was 2-0. Followed on my phone for the rest of the game. And what the **** was with it not being in HD on comcast... They block the VS. feed then don't give me HD on comcast, **** you.

You and me both. But I have Dish Network. I don't know why the HD feed wasn't there. I talked to many folk about it last night, some comcast customers and they had HD.

It was in HD at the United Center.

Eddie is a little slow, and it hurts that I actually agree with him. I just think that Hammer had the time to make the change, he just hesitated at first, and at one point was actually staying with Oshie. He had the time to make the change, he just didn't read it fast enough and went to the bench too late.

line changes including the D pairings were all out of whack last night due to the lines being mixed. Thus the TMM as well.

Last year, Keith was the man. I don't know if it's the time that wore him down, or if he spent so much time polishing his Norris Trophy that he forgot hot to pass, but I agree, in terms of output based on salary, IMHO Campbell at 7+ was less of an overpayment than Keith at 5.5. Overall, though, in no way shape or form am I against Keith's signing.

But, my optimistic side is telling me that it was just an off-year for him. Last year he was the stud and Seabs was maligned for being the weaker of the pair...this year the opposite came true.

As for Sharp, by his contract year hopefully we will have moved some other unneeded salary and hopefully can get him locked in. I would love to see him retire a 'hawk.

Don't know why I thought Sharp was gone after this season...
