Just google "chicago ip proxy" and you'll find sites with thousands of IPs you can use. Only takes about 30 seconds to set it up.

Thanks, I was bumming because I wouldn't get to watch this, now I have a way to circumvent the blackout restriction. Sweet!!!!!

Great Quote Bookie...

and those pictures are so perfect. I can't believe Hockey if finally upon us, if we are all this excited.... Imagine what the season opener is going to be like.

Someone post a link to the rosters when there is one?

Also, I want to make sure I understand the quotes from up top... It's not on TV at all... only on Chicagoblackhawks.com and only in the chicagoland area? Correct? Anyone know the resolution they will stream it in? I wonder what I have to do to stream to my TV? I know it can do it, I"ll have to look into it.

Still hungover from the weekend, mass? Bookie hasn't posted in this thread yet.

Mass, does your TV have an internet connection? If not, to stream it to your tv you will just need to hook your 'puter to the TV with an HDMI or S-video cable.

I am luck as we have an office in Grand Priaire that I should be able to vpn into and get a Northern Alberta ip address.

Yeah it does. It's got MediaShare or AllShare or whatever it is called I can't remember. I turned it on one on the TV and then my phone and in a couple of buttons was streaming videos I took on my phone straight to the TV. Was very cool. Don't know what it used though but I gotta imagine my computer should be able to do that too somehow?

If your computer has an HDMI-out, yes, just plug and play to the TV. Beware, though, that if you're using onboard video (rather than a discreet graphics card), you'll likley lose your monitor when you do so. You might want to set that up ahead of time for any teething issues.

If not, you can buy a DVI to HDMI dongle, but the only thing it will pass to your TV is video. You'll need something for the audio.

I do know that a lot of newer HDTV's also have a DVI port on them. if that's the case just use a DVI cable from your computer to the TV and it will act as a monitor-again, no sound.

But... but... Kyle Beach is done. His career is over, they didn't even invite him to rookie camp.

He's the fastest player on the team going against someone who couldn't so much as skate backwards last year... I think that's saying something.
