Except neither of those 4th line Centers are really Centers. Kruger was not good on F/O last night. You need a 4th line Center that's going to win some F/Os. I also don't see Olezs on that top line.

Q started Brunette there last night. Did not end that way either. I think the Top 6 is still up in the air as far as supporting cast. If Saad does stay in the top 6, someone is leaving.

I think though that if Kruger starts on the 4th line, you'd see Mayers taking Dzone draws....Kruger in the NZ or OZ draws - to improve his skill there

I think he dropped Brunette to give some other guys some Toews time. Personally, I think Toews and Brunette worked well together last night, and it was nice to see Brunette at the net...the extra passes were a bother, but it is pre-season after all. Be interesting to see that interaction with Kane on that line.

I think there will be another set of cuts after tomorrow and then we'll see mostly a full line up the next three games. Tweaks here and there. Least the next two home games we should see as full of a roster as last night, with more added.

Sharp might just be ready by the 7th, if not I'm not sure who Centers the 2nd line.

I also think Brunette will start the season with Toews-Kane.

They now have a live band in one of the 100 level sections. If that's 118-119 I'm going to be super pissed. Dumb ass move.

Actually it was Club level in the corner where the Hawks shoot once. I'm guessing they won't be doing it once the regular season starts. It just does'nt look like something his highness (insert Grinch picture) would approve of.

Other arena's do it which is probably why the Grinch did it. They better have them gone by the 8th at the latest. Hockey on the ice is more than enough entertainment. Not to mention they arleady blare that radio shit far too loud as it is.
