The big brother Hawks showed the uppity little brother what championship teams are made of. Couldn't have dispatched these losers in a better fashion. Crawford was solid and a key factor in this whole series. If he can build on this, then watch out. Glad to see Sharp finally get that goal, so all the main guns popped their playoff cherries before the second round. Keith also having an excellent series and game. Just top notch all around. Only wish Q would stop dressing players only to play them 5 minutes a game, it's stupid. Dress the guys that allow you to run 4 full lines at all times.

Yes. Q needs to give equal ice time if he dresses someone or he will have some angry parents

Oduya is so Chris Campoli

6gms - 1g-2a-3pts +1 24:38gm 8hits 10 blocked shots and plays the PK

And that slug Handzus? Leading all forwards in ice time on the PK (and that idiot Q played him way too much ES...even though he really only played 9min a game ES...11th on the team...but who needs those facts). That clown Handzus also led all forwards with 14 blocked shots.

I really hope the Hawks play more Morin and Regin this next round...or they could be doomed!!

I have been a Handzus fluffer ever since he returned last year, I have never been more proud of the Zus then after this series.

After all the shit that he's gotten from the fans, especially here, he really shut everyone up quick.

Quit talking about hockey and add to the tone, atmosphere and substance of this thread by laying some witty post post-modernism meme or nonsequitur down upon us.

If the Hawks had managed to not parade to the box every game I'm not so sure our attitude towards Handzus would've changed. He was definitely a beast on the PK and it's obvious we need him on it, but the Hawks really could make their lives easier by staying out of the box. After game 2 I don't think anyone was calling for Zeus to sit. I still don't understand why Morin didn't get time over Nordstrom last game.

I think the most satisfying aspect of yesterdays game was that the Hawks didn't relent after getting a 1 goal lead. The first 2 minutes after Toews's goal I was getting irritated as they kept just trying to clear the puck and ice it without trying to possess it but then it all changed. They started controlling the puck, they still had D-men involved in the play and were dominating offensively. It probably helped that the Blues started taking more chances with their D jumping in on the play, but it was still gratifying to not watch the Hawks go into a shell.

He was extremely solid in those games without Seabrook. I was really surprised. Then again, it seems anyone you put on the ice with Keith plays really well.

Crawford really stepped up his game after he called himself out after game 2. He was a major factor in eliminating the Blues. Stole a game this series, and allowed the Hawks to weather the storm in the second period of game 6, and bury those assholes in the third.

Toews and Keith....were absolute monsters. Seabrook played really well too. Hossa is playing strong but needs to start scoring. Sharp definitely needs to step his game up. Ben Smith should be playing in the top six until he proves he can't. He's really the best option between Sharp and Kane/Hossa. Roleplayers were just fine in this series, but I think the Hawks will need to be able to play their fourth line a bit more if they're going to go deep in these playoffs.

I still don't understand the point of dressing Nordstrom and Bollig to play...2 minutes each. The Hawks basically ran three lines the entire game. Why not dress someone that you can trust to play more minutes so you can give the fourth line a bit more ice time? The ice time was spread out quite well over the other 3 lines, so maybe it won't be a big issue going forward. Would still like to see SOME kind of fourth line put together.

Seabrook is 3rd on the team in points with 6 behind Toews and Keith who have 7. Pretty impressive for not playing in 3 games.

Not sure how I forgot Bickell. He was an absolute beast. A lot of Blues are going to be quite sore because of him.
