That's something I only share with my fellow semper fidelises. Sorry. I assure you, really cool rating. Some would say elite.
God bless you, sir.

How's your police job search going?

shitty

Apparently they're only hiring cowards these days
Yeah. I still hope you find something. You seem like a good dude.

I've been on the wrong side of the law one too many times. I know it's rough to be judged.

I take back the Barry McCockiner comments. I was being an ass.

Wow that seems complicated. In the US Navy...

E1 - E3 (recruits - seaman)
E4 - E6 (Petty Officers) Army Sargent
E7 - E9 (Chiefs)

Lying sack of shit. With as dumb as you are in general, if you were actually in the military you would have been KIA and no one would care.

Meltdown epic. The year is 2055...

@Grimson - "The MAGAs are out to get me."

Own children: "Dad, Trump has been dead since 2028."

Grimson: "I hate those honkies." (Never survived Naperville.)

Yikes. Someone is caught up their own lie and ready to use their "service weapon" to end it. Cringe.

Quite the the spaz out. Hopefully you only harm yourself.

Didn't serve but think there should be a near 100% participation service requirement, men and women with very few exceptions. Learn to live with your fellow man while rebuilding infrastructure or serving to protect. 2 years, learn a skill or free college for your trouble.

For those who served, Thank You. I'd salute you but I'm not worthy.

All G. I don't even remember the details of the Barry stuff. But thanks. The guy who runs our academy doesn't understand why i wasn't scooped up quickly. I tested well. I was chosen to lead. I interview well for the most part. Its all dumb.

I'm kind of in the early stages of taking a head of security job in Zona for a half a billion dollar business. Great opportunity that pays better than any LE job in these parts. Not exactly what i want to do but it seems like a smarter move. Worse case scenario it looks amazing on a resume.

  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Nebraska Cornhuskers
  2. Villanova Wildcats
FWIW, I believe Crystallas is a vet. I don't remember seeing him post here in awhile. He's probably being above it all on a tech forum.

Yeah, I left Zona for the Ozarks. I love AR.

...and I understand why you were chosen to lead. You have that - I'm dead serious.

Good luck. Life takes you on unchosen paths.

At this point I couldn’t disagree more…
I spent half my life in military service… and once agreed but not in today’s society… holy shit… not even close.
I wouldn’t want to depend on anyone who didn’t want to be there. The majority of the US is now incredibly fragile… to the point a word can literally cripple them emotionally. (I know… previously unimaginable).

I did 28 years in the Air Force (Someone called it Chair Force).
I did two 90 day CSTs at fort Riley Kansas directly in route to my two 365 day embedded combat (By With and Through) MiTT missions in both Iraq (2006-2007) and Afghanistan (2008-2009) …
These were my last (combat tours) due to a miriade of injury’s .
Prior to that I served in both the Gulf War and CJTF HOA in Somolia, Djibouti, and Kenya. Followed later by tours in Vietnam, Laos etc.
For you that can’t add that is 90 + 365 twice in combat and a shit ton other tours. This accomplished all while my phenomenal /incredible wife (on her own) rocked out my children with NO FUCKING HELP… household moves, car pools, shots, schools, sports, clothing, food, bills, etc. I came home between my Iraq/Afghan tours to have my beloved daughter who was 6 when I left and 8 when I returned tell me to my face how I missed two birthdays in a row…. To this day I remember her tears when she told me that…. While I swallowed mine… and packed for Afghanistan.

I crawled out of a shit town called Rockford after High School… and served until my mid 40s when I honorably retired.
I am now compensated with a net 6500,00 on the first of each month… as long as I continue to wake up. At which point my wife will continue to be compensated until the end of her life.

In addition my family has Platinum healthcare with no prescription fees or copays for 45 bucks a month and multiple education benefits.

And I earned every fucking bit of it
Along with the Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, etc who served next to me.
I love them all!

Yet in the end… and through it all..
Our family remains steadfast and devoted to each other today.
By the love and grace of our savior.

I now Net (adjusted by inflation) 6500,00 on the first of the month for the rest of my life for opening my eyes

Thank you for your service and please DM me about some exciting investment opportunities that are totally legit and not my broke ass trying to leach off that sweet, sweet government money at all.

As to the OP, I wanted to join the Air Force after seeing 'Top Gun' as a teen. Alas, I still had three long years of high school left to sway me into much stupider life goals.

Can you honesty picture half the people (or more) who are anonymous on social media in a life/death confrontation? I mean literally?

In addition my family has Platinum healthcare with no prescription fees or copays for 45 bucks a month. Unless I need specialist care… that copay is 12-28 dollars depending.

That's cool but your perception of people is exactly why they need something like this and remember I said social service. Only a % would serve as active members of the military. I mean, 'we're better for having served' was sort of the point.

Thanks for your service.

As far as investing you should search out a qualified person…
Not really my lane.
I’m now a gov contractor and put 30% of that compensation in the hands of a fiduciary I trust and have long standing with.
I would suggest you find a trusted contact and do same.

I don’t disagree…
A bit of self confidence, discipline, and encouragement can make an incredible difference.
Sadly that’s something no longer found in many homes.
