According to ESPN...Shaq and the orlando magic to discuss the Vacant GM position.

Shag possibly as GM.....

If that doesn't tell you Howard is gone...nothing will. Shaq can't stand Howard.

Rebuilding my ass. The plan for this team is to win championships after 2015-2016. They just took the risk of Boozer to make a try to win it now. But as soon as this didn't work they just need to stick to their plan. The only reason to start rebuilding will be Rose. If the guy won't return at nothing near 100% or reinjure his knee they will have to amnesty him and start rebuilding.
:obama:

Waiting four years to start to win championships is rebuilding.

What the hell are you talking about? The plan is to win championships now, not 4 years from now. And please read about the Amnesty Clause. After this offseason, THERE WON'T BE ONE. No one is rebuilding anything. You don't waste the prime years of a player of Rose's caliber on rebuilding.

Amnesty Rose? :lmao:

Yes they started rebuilding when they drafted Rose. From what I see their plan is to win it in 3-4 years from now. Otherwise they would have given it a try for a second superstar. It seems that they are waiting for the Charlotte's pick and Mirotic. By that year some of our big contracts will expire too to sign an other superstar.

I didn't knew this. And of course this case is exactly why the Amnesty Clause is. Are you sure that DRose won't be a Greg Oden situation for the Bulls? Do you really believe that if DRose loses his explosiveness or reinjure his knee again he won't be a bad contract for the Bulls?

I'm pretty sure Rose is still going to be good even if he doesn't have as much explosiveness.

And you are sure because he is a great shooter or a great passer? I am sure he will be good too. But not 15M good.

Note: His left foot was his stronger foot. That means his very explosive first step will be out of question for a long time.

But I hope he will return pretty close to 100%

Iverson would be a nice replacement of Scalabrine. :D

But we still need a second PG and Rose with Gordon in the same lineup would make our team very short.

Rose,Dragic
Deng!!,Hamilton
Josh Smith,Butler
Gibson,Mirotic
Noah,Asik

So you're saying the Bulls will pretty much throw him out because he's not as explosive? Yeah........makes a ton of sense.

No I am saying that if the guy will be NOTHING near what he was before the injury and by nothing i mean NOTHING or if he gets reinjured there is a possibility for the bulls to want to get rid of his contract. Nobody really knows how DRose will return. This "he is a fighter,a hard worker, blah blah blah" means nothing. You can't know how his body and his mind will react to this. He may return a pretty damn good player who may reach preinjured Rose's level in 1-2 years(most possible) but he may return a useless 15M $ contract.

I dunno, maybe because D Rose is built like an NBA player & Oden is built like Lurch. Or the fact that he didn't have Microfracture surgery, which is a much riskier & tougher procedure to fully recover from. Or the fact that players like Baron Davis & Jamal Crawford to name a few, fully recovered from ACL surgeries with no ill effects to their game.

And you're still missing the point I made about the Amnesty Clause. We can't use it after this offseason, so if Rose is not Rose anymore, no one will know until AFTER the AC has already expired in the new CBA. So amnestying Rose WILL NEVER HAPPEN.

Is there really a talk about cutting DRose? :obama:

WE LIVE AND FALL WITH THIS KID!!!

I don´t think the Bulls get a second top 10 player in the near future. So if Rose´s carreer really would be over (what I don´t think and what I don´t wanna think about) the Bulls are back in 1999!

I didn't missed the point. I said I didn't knew that. And yes I don't believe that Rose wouldn't return good enough. This is the most possible thing to happen. But same way you can name players who fully recovered from ACL surgeries, you can name players whose career ended due to an ACL injury. Nobody really knows how this thing will end up for Rose. And of course prayers and "Rose is a hard worker" statements don't work. I hope the best for the kid. But right now I don't know what will happen with him. What was worse for him to happen? Achilles' tendon rupture? ACL torn is the second worse injury for a professional athlete. You can't be 100% sure he will be back 2 fast 2 strong 2 good.

David Kaplan just said on Chicago Tribune Live that the Indiana Pacers can beat the Chicago Bulls even with a healthy Rose in a 7 game series wow what a fucking dumbass.

Let them believe whatever they want. Deep inside they know that this can't happen. The healthy Bulls against the Boshless Heat would be four 30 point margin victories. And they are about to be eliminated by them. While the cat's away, the mouse will play.

It's funny how anyone who doesn't agree with you and your homer bullshit is Special person. The Pacers are a really good team, and they have a chance of beating the Bulls in a 7 game series.

He said that they CAN. Not that they had a chance. We know that they have a chance because they weren't the 3 seed because they sucked
