Yes they started rebuilding when they drafted Rose. From what I see their plan is to win it in 3-4 years from now. Otherwise they would have given it a try for a second superstar. It seems that they are waiting for the Charlotte's pick and Mirotic. By that year some of our big contracts will expire too to sign an other superstar.
This is completely wrong.

David Kaplan just said on Chicago Tribune Live that the Indiana Pacers can beat the Chicago Bulls even with a healthy Rose in a 7 game series wow what a fucking dumbass.
I'm not sure he is wrong.

It's funny how anyone who doesn't agree with you and your homer bullshit is Special person. The Pacers are a really good team, and they have a chance of beating the Bulls in a 7 game series.

He said that they CAN. Not that they had a chance. We know that they have a chance because they weren't the 3 seed because they sucked

I think they can as well. Maybe you homers should open your eyes.

Care to explain why?

I'm pretty sure the Pacers can beat the Bulls in a 7 game series.

Yep sure you would because you quit on the Bulls long time ago now get ready to watch your shitty Jags.

Actually now that the Bulls are out you can hear and read a ton of bullshits. Rondo is a better player than Rose. The Celtics are a better team than the Bulls and they could have beaten the healthy bulls easily. The Pacers had a chance. The Knicks too. Somehow the Bulls didn't deserve to be in the playoffs at all and the only team who didn't have a chance against them with Rose were the Magic w/o Howard. Anyone who doesn't agree is a homer.

Most of that stuff was said before the playoffs even started. People thought the Celtics would give the Bulls a hard time and even beat them...nothing new. I stated on this forum that the Pacers wouldn't be an easy out.

And no, you are not a homer if you disagree...but when making statements like "Rose is much better than any other pg in the league...", THAT is homer b.s. Believing that the Bulls could have won it all this year is not being a homer in my opinion.

David Kaplan just said on Chicago Tribune Live that the Indiana Pacers can beat the Chicago Bulls even with a healthy Rose in a 7 game series wow what a fucking dumbass.

you guys need to pay attention to key words

"can" means that there is a possibility, not that the pacers would beat the bulls or would win even 50% of the time, hell even 40%..

the bulls at this point are just not an ideal playoff team

1. They have one real source of consistent scoring when needed

2. They cannot compensate for #1 very well, because the bulls dont have very good ball flow(besides rose and minorly noah, do the bulls have any good passers?) and they dont have a consistent balanced attack every game

if everyone is healthy, 2 becomes more of a possibility with a solid starting 5...

does this mean the bulls wouldnt have a good possibility of making the ECF and even the finals with the current roster? Absolutely not..I'm just providing reasoning for a possible outcome

The Pacers have Roy Hibbert, who is steadily becoming one of the best centers in the game, and is 7'2

David West is a very solid PF and with Hibbert and Hansbrough makes a capable frontcourt (and this frontcourt becomes a little more of an issue when you have one defender in the post who cant rotate worth jack)

Danny Granger is a very good SF

Paul George is a solid wing and a very very very good defender who would look to challenge Rose...thats one thing..they have a guy who can handle rose and essentially take out of the "head" of the bulls

Collison is a good PG who can run the offense well

The starting 5 is solid up and down, there are no real potholes(like an uncertain or inconsistent position...all of starters started well over 90% of the games they played..the lowest percentages were 56/60 and 62/66)

And then you have Barbosa,Stevenson,Hansbrough, George Hill(who is a really good player),and AJ price on the bench

so considering all of this, is it that ridiculous to say "In a 7 game playoff series, the Pacers can beat the Bulls?"

Technically speaking, any team can beat any team, it just may not be as likely in one direction. The Pacers imo have a more complete team than we do, sad as that is to say. They have consistent offense (granted one that is marred by the constant decision to shoot outside jumpers) at pretty much every position and we have one source of offense. They might not be as talented, but they have shot creators...lots of them (Hill, Granger, Barbosa, etc). Taking that into consideration, sure they could beat us. Doesn't mean they will or that they even have the upper hand, but it's definitely possible.

 i'm not making this into a technicality...i'm just pointing out why word choice is important here

Yeah, there's a possibility. The Bulls barely beat the Pacers with Rose this season. Open your eyes dude.

You're arguing two different things. The Pacer teams of 10-11 were weaker than the Pacers we saw battle Miami in 6 games.

With Rose, I think the Bulls are still better. I think without Rose, the Pacers are a better team.
