I have no idea how Kenny would swing getting a Greinke to be honest. But perhaps Milwaukee is looking for now pieces to stay competitive in this window that they have with Braun and company.

what was his source?

Mulley and Hanley show, he turned it on half way thru and was unsure what the source was but felt from the conversation it was credible. Take it for what it's worth.

thank you! i worry about greinke though and his anxiety disorder along with routine (OCD) symptoms that he shows as stated in his comments about how he pitches so well at home.

I agree on that too. I'd still roll the dice I think on him over Dempster if it were true.

Co worker heard that KW was talking to MILW about Grienke. I'd give up just about anything for him

Wow that would be awesome! We really need another starting pitcher. I can't stand watching Humber pitch anymore. When Danks comes back I want Quintana to stay in the rotation and move Humner to the Pen.

if we dont get a starter that is what I am hoping for too. he isnt an overpowering lefty but quintana has gotten the job done.

Yea exactly. He's been a Very pleasant surprise. Humber has been bad ever since the all star break last year. I would love to add another starter. Grienke or Lincecum would be absolutely awesome but idk of they are realistic options. I'd consider a Rios for Lincecum if Jordan Danks can stay up here and continue to hit well.

Greinke would be great. Probably the best out of all the available pitchers. Not sure how the Sox would get him or what they would have to give up though.

I wouldn't want to give up those guys for a pitcher who will be a FA. That's basically the future of our bullpen for a starting pitcher for the rest of the season. Not really a good trade for the future of the organization.

I don't say blow it up, but you could probably get something good for Peavy.

Maybe send Rios away if you can get anything for him.

Get young guys that are in the pros, but also go for prospects. Need to build that farm system because it sucks. And the farm is how teams win the world series unless you're the yankees.
