I won't criticize Hibbert today. His game speaks for itself one more time. And I just realized how slow he is in transition. Some guys are walking faster. lol

George,West and Granger is a great core. Build around them and you will be a contender. You have the pieces to make the trades. Steve Nash and a Center who can move his feet faster and can pass better than Hibbert (Greg Monroe) are the missing pieces imo.

20 turnovers did the Pacers in this game. That and Wade/LBJ combining for 69.

Pacers need a legit PG agreed. Nash isnt coming here, but pacers should really try to bring him here.

hill and Collison not gonna get it done...ever.

Hibbert needs to man up period. quit being a pussy and use that 7' 2 frame and do something. Also needs to get physically bigger/stronger.

Go to hakeem or shaq and learn from either one of them wouldnt hurt either.

Hibbert had 8 shots and made 5 of them! He is not a guard, he is a center...some of you don't know how centers score so let me help you...somebody has to get them the ball.

It would be different if he was 0-8 from the field.

To dude that just discovered Hibbert was slow...where the hell have you been? You just discovered that???

Hibbert was subbed out the last 2 minutes because they wanted more speed up front according to Van Gundy...that only made things worse.

Nobody on this site is overrating Hibbert...people who don't know basketball and look at stat sheets all day don't know what the hell they are talking about...big, big difference.

Hou dropping knowledge.

I really don't understand why the Pacers settled for so many outside shots. They had a clear upper hand in the paint with Hibbert AND West and they never took full advantage of the mismatches that Miami threw at them defensively. That's poor planning and even worse plan of attack on offense.

Absolutely right...Magic Johnson stated what had to be done before the game started. They had to get the ball to Hibbert and West, especially West with Battier guarding him...at the half, West had 10, 11 shots. Magic said he should have had 20 by halftime. Those guys weren't getting the ball. Yet when they got the ball I believe they were 15/23 from the field? They should have gotten twice the touches.

What it boils down to is simple...and sad. People want to knock decent at best players...blaming Hibbert for not being Kareem...whatever, because of one reason...

You don't want to give Lebron and Wade credit...just sad.

I haven't seen the box score yet, but 15/23 sounds about right. They were very efficient when they got the ball. What gets me is why they take so many perimeter shots, especially when they simply aren't falling. Granger is one of the worst and he's streaky which makes it that much worse.

Props to Wade and James. They stepped up when their backs were up against the wall. Down 2-1 in the series and Game 4 they really stepped it up. They got to the basket, rebounded well on both ends of the floor and hit crucial shot after crucial shot. Haslem also stepped up big time in both Game 4 and 5.

Pretty much. Pacers had a HUGE advantage down low and didn't use it. That's why they lost. West and Hibbert should've had at least 15-20 shots EACH in my opinion. Instead...Pacers chose to jack up outside shots. :smh:
