Did I read a stat right that Tim Duncan is the only lottery pick on the entire Spurs roster? If that is true, what a hell of a franchise they have.

This may upset some of you, but I'd take Popp over Thibs any day of the week.

Doesn't upset me at all and I agree 100%. To add to that: RC Buford is possibly the greatest GM in sports history. What this guy has done in such a small market is nothing short of miraculous.

It's no surprise that his protege, Sam Presti, is currently building the Thunder into a perrenial NBA powerhouse.

I'm gonna laugh if the Bobcats don't win the lottery.. even after MJ's two year tank job.

It was clear MJ was trading all his valuable players for nothing in return so he can win the #1 pick. It would be a little funny if they didn't get it.

If the Hornets win, the conspiracy theorists will never be quiet.

I'd take Popovich too. That man is a genius of a coach.

Furthermore, RC Buford is one of the best GM's I have ever seen. I think in terms of players they drafted themselves, Duncan is the only lottery pick. I think Boris Diaw was a lotto pick for the Hawks in 03. Possibly SJax was a lotto pick? Not too sure about that...wouldn't be surprised if I was wrong.

Just saw an article on NBA.com that says that the Heat bench is better than Boston's.

:andruw:

Actually...who does Boston actually have? Pietrus? Steisma? Maybe they're right...
