I do believe in that if the whole lineup stinks that does have an effect on the team
Uhm, did you mean to say something more here?

13 solo
yuck. that number really can be looked at as a team. the lineup is soooo bad.
Something is wrong with this team. Lack of offence all around, yes. Not Dunns fault
Not really. I mean yes the lineup is pretty bad outside of a few, but I did a quick look up. Miggy has 8 solo shots and Davis has 18 of them. Both are superior lineups to us.
No one is saying our lineup is great, but Dunn's RBI production to taters I bet is the same with the rest of his tenure here, poor. That eliminates the lineup for Dunn.
RBIs are a product of men On Base. Dunn does not control other hitters.
Dunn has 60 RBIs with no one really ever on base. I'm not touting him as Miggy, but 24 HRs should have more than 60 RBIs. He should have atleast 70.
I don't recall anyone saying the lineup is awful all because of Dunn.
Outside of the bombs, Dunn hasn't been worth that contract he got..plain & simple.
His average is fucking pitiful. Sure, it isn't everything, but barely above the mendoza line, really?
Dunn, I'm pretty sure, was brought here to jack the long ball. He's doing it.
If the question is , Is he choking with men on base ? Yea. Big time
He was brought in to do a heck of a lot more. Not saying you, but anyone who thinks it was to just hit homers really needs to check his or herself.
What was Dunn brought to Chicago to do? Did White Sox fans actually watch Dunn play baseball before he got to Chicago?
Actually, Dunn was better at getting on base before he signed with the Sox, was a much better hitter on the Nationals, Diamondbacks, and Reds, and he hit more doubles in addition to the homeruns.

That said, Adam's one of the least problematic position players on this team.
So, a guy who is barely hitting above the mendoza line isn't problematic?
His OBP matters a hell of a lot more than his BA.
Given that he was a career .250 hitter before he got here, it has dropped 12 points.
Yes, it does matter.
There are guys this year with almost the same stats but are hitting for higher average because they make more contact.
He has a total of 63 hits & not even draw walks...nuff said.
