So gutting the team and putting Howard on the team will guarantee us titles.

Got it.

Yeah...that is pretty much the way it works with great centers...you know...throughout history.

Rose and Deng are hardly Jordan and Pippen. It would be one thing to package Rodman and Pippen for Olajuwon. We are talking about Deng and Noah (at worst) for Howard.

That type of statement is what has pissed me off so much since the beginning of this season.

There is this prevailing notion that anyone who doesn't feel that the Heat will destroy us in the playoffs is living in a fantasy world. It's insulting, not just to me, but to the team I love & support. It's your opinion, and that's fine, but it doesn't make you more grounded in reality than anyone else simply because you feel that way.

And there is a prevailing notion on this forum that people who feel the Heat will beat the Bulls (you used "destroy"...again with the hyperactive wording) are somehow not a part of Bulls fandom...I disagree vehemently.

Boy you just really love putting words in people's mouths don't you?

Did I ever say you aren't a Bulls fan? Did I say Cubby wasn't? NO! Good God, read before you post.

People saying they are a "realist" because they think the Heat will beat the Bulls is insulting to anyone who feels differently. And that's not an opinion, it's a fact.

One more great win today by the unbeatable and unstoppable Miami.That wins make all their opponents scare.OMG LeBron!OMG Chris Bosh!Unbelievable!Jordan's 72-10 record threatened.LeBron is the best Center in the NBA.He can guard Howard too!And what a great performance by Miamis big guys.OMG they have so much depth.And look how scary they are after celebrating scoring one free throw.
Boshshouts.jpg

And after making a power dunk in games they lose by 20 points.

OMG this dunk will be #1 in NBA.com highlights!I can't believe it!LeBron just tweeted in the game break that this will be the best dunk of the year!It seems like a win to me!OMG!That wins mean championships!Consecutive championships!Jordan didn't celebrate that way for a single play when his team was losing.Kobe don't either.Lebron is as good as they are and he is celebrating each single play like this?Even when it was still 2 points in a lost game?Great passion?How scary is this?I just shit my pants.

~~~~~~~~~~~
Maybe the heat can package DWade and Bosh for Howard.It's their only hope to win this championship and be contenders for the next years.
Rose and Deng are not near the same level as Pippen and Jordan.
I can't believe someone actually posted that....LoL, the laughs I get reading some peoples posts...Thanks for the humor guys.
DWade, Bosh and Lebron are not Pippen, Jordan and Rodman...They are in a league of there own.
Enough of this ridiculousness..
Let's get back to thread topic...
What can the Bulls do to get better before trade deadline by free agent signing or trade??
My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bulls
Don't most players want to play in a warm climate? I find it odd, that Howard can have a full team of support(not scrubs), be this dominating center, and still have a lot of trouble in Orlando. It would seem a lot easier for him and the Magic to clear space and make a run for a top free agent. That might also include replacing SVG for someone who doesn't have this deep love for jacking up 3's.
About a circus team that everyone believe they can dominate the league but tha fact is that they can't.With so much energy wasted in celebrating their good plays they are losing their goal.Every single player is overrated by many people.They are 3 of the best players but there are things that they can do and things that they can't do in the court.Having all of them do everything even things they are not good at make them a vulnerable team.Their talent can win some games but not a championship.So if they keep in the same pace without dedication in winning,without focus in defense and rebounding they have no luck.
The heat was double teamed Howard today.The result?Howard ended the game with 35 points,23 boards and the Magic scored 17 open 3pts!So if you can't stop one guy how can you stop teams like Chicago,Okclahoma and Clippers?OK they were lucky they won the Bulls because Rose choked in the last minute of the game.But truth is that when it comes to really good teams they can't win easily.Only exception was the 76ers,that their wins were not as easy as the final score said.
If fact the Heat are so bad team that they make Orlando seem like a dream team.Today everyone will say that Orlando is a hell of a team forgetting that this team scored 60 points against the Celtics and not even passed 100 points today.They could have easily scored 120 points today against this crappy Miami defense but they cant even score easy layups.
P.S. If Bosh was a Bull now you would see posts and threads about trading him and how awful player he is like Boozer.
Your fantasy league ideas don't work in the real work... Ill admit, the lineup you presented doesn't seem to have many weaknesses, but how would the bench look? I can better point to the lack of success teams have had when making an inseason trade- the Knicks failed last year and trading for Howard and Turk isn't gonna make us any better if we lose half the damn roster. I'm serious about not wanting Howard. I wouldn't mind having him but I wouldn't let the future of the team ride on his legs and shoulders. I like my chances better w Rose and our depth; than Rose and Howard with minimal support around them. Your fantasy league idea hasn't worked for the Knicks thus far... But beyond any lineup including/not including. Howard, you are another lame duck fan who is already annointing the Heat and Bulls as EC finalist when in reality, the playoffs are not in the immediate future. The Pacers, Sixers and Hawks all have the potential to dethrone YOUR "unbeatable-Heat". We may never matchup with Miami in the playoffs so these points you are making are moot.
Yes, you can go on about your business and clamor for every big name FA that hits the market to come to Chicago but I'm content allowing our players to mature and overcome any obstacle the teams that qualify for the playoffs present. I guess me and Rose think alike- I don't see him lobbying or asking FO to bring any guys in. I trust that Derrick will have enough resolve and determination not to lose this year regardless of the rest of the roster.
Go read this article, then man up and quit bitc#ing about the Bulls needing another player to "beat the Heat". You are lame.
Rose apathetic on Howard coming to Bulls - CBSSports.com
Love Jimi.
You've got some real fucking gal, to be calling people out on there fandom. When you don't know shit about shit. Seemingly when you provide 0 evidence on anything. By just stating your opinion. And calling people lame duck fans.
When you actually can develop a fucking thought with out calling someone a name and using real evidence you asinine little prick you maybe worth some credibility. But until you can do that. Get over yourself, GTFO of CCS and stop thinking your shit don't stink.
I've said many times that I enjoy the team as is and wouldn't complain if nothing changed about the team. I just can't envision a scenario where they beat the heat in a 7 game series with the team as is. Because they would need play nearly flawlessly in order to do.
So why don't you quit being a "lame duck" in your own words learn to accept that change may actually be for the better and the status quo is always the correct route. The odds of Howard are slim, but if he is what it takes to make the Bulls win championships, you do it. I'm not content with this chemistry garbage. in the words of Al Davis just win baby. You do w/e it takes to win w/ in the legal bounds.
Love,
CubbyBear
P.S. If you come with the regular season wins arguement, WTH do regular season wins mean once the playoffs start? O thats right...nothing.
P.S.S GET THE HELL OUT OF CCS, while we are still smart fans.
Nor does your thinking that standing pat with our bulls' "depth and chemistry" is the best way to go because it's what you enjoy watching and feel it's been successful in regular season and should be in the postseason. We are all entitled to our opinions.
But don't sit there and hind behind the Depth and chemistry argument ignoring what I've posted in another thread about what happens when the best center in the game is traded and how it leads to success.
Once again can someone, anyone answer my question what is wrong or bad about having both the best center and point guard in the league on the same team?
No you wouldn't...Bosh plays better defense, and is more consistent and actually scores the ball well against good teams, not just against Jersey and Charlotte.
And by the way...talent wins titles. You can try to piss on Lebron's game all you want...
And I don't know if you noticed, they may have doubled Howard. They don't double Rose. Lebron guards him one-on-one. So unless you are a Magic fan, why bring that up?
You focus soooooo much on the regular season, do you really think the Magic could beat the Heat in a 7 game series? And speaking of regular season victories....how about them Pacers?
Yes and if Bosh was a bull you would like Boozer over him easily.Boozer is a better rebounder,they both have a good midrange shoot,Bosh is more agile,Boozer has bigger body.They both do many turnovers.Not so much difference between them.It is just that the one plays in the most promoted team as a part of a "big 3" and the other plays in a team without big talks being just a guy who is helping Rose.
Bosh plays defense.That was a nice one.:lol:
And I noticed that they double teamed Rose.He choked in the ECF.It wasn't LeBron who was to praise for that.It was simple because Rose didn't/don't have the guts to make the right play in so big games.I didn't see LeBron guarding him in our resent game when he did a bad play,flopped and luckily refs saw he was fouled.I didn't see Lebron guarding him in the free throw line.He missed both.Until then he had 35/35 free throws in 4th quarters.He also did a bad play in his last possession.I saw 3 guys on him but not Lebron.He would have missed it even if there was noone to guard him.Its a problem he must solve by himself to be more clutch in the biggest games too.
DRose can easily score 35 points against Miami no matter who is guarding him.He has done it many times.He can do it every time if he is aggressive.The only thing he must fix is to grow some balls for that situations.He must understand that he is the future and LeBron is the past and play against him VERY AGGRESSIVELY in a way that everyone will see how slow is this gorilla compared to him.And he is working on this.I see him being more and more aggressive this year against big opponents.
Wrong.
Boozer is a better rebounder
Barely.
they both have a good midrange shoot
Bosh's is better.
Bosh is more agile,Boozer has bigger body.
Translation: Boozer is slow. And for Boozers big body he doesn't do a hell of alot with it, especially in the post. It's kind of a waste.
Bosh plays defense.
Bosh is better on defense than Boozer..not that it means much.
Bosh>Boozer.
.I didn't see LeBron guarding him in our resent game
Watch more basketball.
DRose can easily score 35 points against Miami .He has done it many times.
Rose averages 20.5PPG in his career against Miami.
Rose has never scored 35+ points against Miami in his entire career. Ever. Let alone against the Big 3. Regular season, playoffs, whatever. Never.
You're flat out just making stuff up now.
Me and FT actually agreeing on something. That is something I would've never expected. But it seems as though me and FT are on the same page as far as the bulls go.
Who the hell are you to tell me how I would feel about Bosh coming here? Answer this for me...who did the Bulls see first? Bosh or Boozer? And when did they sign Boozer? Bosh has been a better player than Boozer for quite some time. Boozer was NEVER a franchise player...Bosh was and still could be.
You didn't watch the last game if you didn't see Lebron guard Rose. Lebron guarded Rose, with NO DOUBLE TEAMS... and Rose was scoreless. The same thing happened in the playoffs last year. Did you watch any of those games?
