Well at least you're watching the games (I actually should have guessed based on your name). Can't say enough how irritating it is on this board for people to make sweeping judgments on a stat sheet.

I see him making good cuts and accelerating and I see a guy that can grow into a #1. I'll respect your opinion though. I'll be happy with him at 8. I'll admit there's a short list of guys that I'd be happy with, but God damn it I'm tired of having nothing to look forward to at the receiver position.

True that.
And for the record I don't believe any WR is more NFL ready than him. Perfect world would be to trade down and get him.

Dude is the next Antonio Brown.

So explosive off the line, and out of his cuts.

I don't believe he has Browns hands and catching ability - not even close

WR is too much risk for me. Probably too big of an investment for where we are right now.

I would take the best OLB, CB or OT at 8 and cycle back to WR in the 2nd

I'm all for trading down.
So assuming he is the guy how far can you trade down and still be sure of getting him and who is there or above willing to trade?

Still assuming he is not only the guy but the best WR in 2018, if you can't trade down isn't it worth it to get your guy and the best WR at #8 than to get sloppy 6ths at 39?
Can anyone actually guarantee the player they think is worthy of #8 going to pan out any more than anyone else can guarantee Ridley will be worthy of #8? Not even the pros are able to do that.

just finally watched the national championship game.. liked the tua kid.. been liked him since i saw him on dat elite 11 shit dough.. im southpaw biased.... ridley aint do much especially with hurts pretending to be a throwing qb... that td to ridley wasnt even to him, but you got to credit him running the route out and having the mentals to go get said ball..

dude is 24 already.. will be 32 when paces plan finally starts to hit..

Pace will have to gage that after the combine and pro days. It'll be well known how his stock is looking. It's definitely a risk though, no one had Davis at #5 last year

I think to trade down you either have multiple guys and you don't care which one you get or there's nobody you want.
If you don't care if you get Ridley or Kirk you're probably safe to drop to 15.

Idk if Kirk is worth 15. He’s just as much a reach at 15 as Ridley is at 8. You might as well just pick Ridley at 8. He’s a top 15 pick now, if he runs under a 4.4 he will go top 10 because everyone loves 40 times. So much will change the coming months, who knows Sutton might end up going too 10.

Yep. Poor combines, bad interviews, failed drug tests, arrests, and workout warriors along with Free Agency affect the 1st round immensely

Ridley. Now. Please

I would love to add Ridley to the Bears, but I do not think he is going to climb into the top 10 conversation. Obviously at his size he needs to run really well at the combine,

That's fine. As long as Chubb and Fitzpatrick are off the board (and you don't want to go Nelson) become a trade down clown and get Ridley along with other picks.

I think the Bears are in a real advantageous spot this year.

This draft class, outside of Nelson, and the QB's...kind of sucks.

like I said in the other thread

You trade down, SF takes ridley at #9, jimmy g makes calvin a star. Then everyone on here cries about how we could have had jimmy and calvin, because thats what we do.
