I have to agree with TCD. I don't care who they play just get in. I'll worry who they play if they somehow get in. I guess I'm lucky I only have to get up at 10:30 to see the game. Which is still too early.

Well ****. If we win, we get the Ducks in the first round... If we lose in OT/SO, we get Detroit? Anyone else hoping we just get a point tomorrow?

I do not want to face the Ducks. Period. I think they are the dark horse coming out of the West.

We face the Sharks.

If the Hawks win tomorrow, detroit gets nashville. If detroit wins, they get phoenix. So the wings might see that as added incentive because I don't think they want to face nashville in a 7 game series. They'll find out why they were so tough on the Hawks last year.

I think anybody in the West is better than the Ducks. I'd love to see a rematch with the Sharks too. The Ducks, especially when they are hot, are bad news. And they're hot right now. Only reason they were even a question to make the playoffs, was lack of OTLs. 43 regulation wins is pretty damn impressive.

I'm not worried about their goaltending. I'm worried about their size and physicality up front. The Ducks are just a team the Hawks don't match up well against. They are a big, physical team, that can wear down pretty much anyone. Give me Detroit or Vancouver any day.

Yes, I realize they're a big, rugged physical team, I call'em Philly West, but if their goaltending doesn't hold up and we,re putting pucks in the net, I don't care.

I wish the Kings could have beaten the Ducks, giving us a chance to play them instead.

I'd rather meet the Ducks than miss the playoffs though, so hoping we win this damn game. I guess OTL would be perfect though.

Depends on how their goaltending performs.

Is Emery hurt, can Ellis go a whole series, how's Hilliers physically (and mentally)?

Emery has been reported to have an undisclosed lower body injury, not related to his hip issues. He stone walled us pretty good the last time we played the Ducks. So Hiller has been out with vertigo ? Thats a strange one.

We just have to beat the Wangs. It'll be interesting to see if the Wangs rest their core players or go all out today.

If I'm a team in the Playoffs I want no part of Perry/Ryan/Selanne/Getzlaf/Visnovsky if I had the choice.

BTW: Teemu got in his first fight in 18 years last night... at the age of 40+
