Would he be useless here? Let's see...Rose, Butler, Hinrich....yeah, pretty much. Why waste valuable cap space on someone you can't afford to NOT play? As for your Ben Gordon stuff....BG was a jerk last year and that is why he was limited in playing time...and when he was being shopped in a trade...NOBODY WANTED HIM.

You seem to have a bloated view of your favorite players. Just sayin'

Nate the great could win us a game or two against the heat. Dung can't win us one game.

The crying here is ridiculous.

The NBA is never going to pay a guy who is 5'9 a lot of money to do what he does...because when it comes down to it, the guy is ineffective when it matters most. I don't mean crunch time in a regular season game, but a deep playoff run.

Ben Gordon wanted nothing but to get paid a large guaranteed contract. He got exactly what he wanted in Detroit and his play is much a result of that. He has a piss poor attitude and is not much of a teammate.

JR Smith has a attitude problem as well, but I find him more of a teammate than Ben Gordon.

They all have in common that they are very streaky shooters and are absolutely terrible at defense.

So what does this make Dunleavy?

The same thing Kyle Korver is/was.

A 1 dimensional specialist who isnt that special at his specialty, and thats about it.
Oh, ok, nice.

At least Nate was special for us at his specialty.
His specialty was instant points in bunches when we needed it which he excelled at.
Nates a true specialist.....He actually single handledly won games for us from time to time, even in the playoffs when he seemed to be at his best........Winning games is an important aspect for any players resume.

Me personally, id trade Korver, Dunleavy or Kirk for Nate in a hot minute.

Who likke me misses Nate?

I miss his energy, he could really bring the ball up the court. What was mgt thinking when they traded him? By the way so far Dunleavy has been a waste of space, totally useless!

Nate wasnt traded, LoL.
He was a free agent and the Bulls didnt resign him.
Somthing about the salary cap.
Theyd rather over spend money on garbage and stay below cap

My bad, thanks for the correction. All the same mgt should have paid him, he's one of my favorite players. It's early in the season, barring injures The Bulls can only get better hopefully not worse.

Because we had 3 PGs on the roster, and Nate's role was going to be replaced by someone much better than him that happens to also be the franchise player?

And Dunleavy was a bargain signing. But you guys think he's going to be worth a damn in the first few months? No, not many players would be. Nate was garbage in the first few months. Dunleavy doesn't replace Nate's role. If anyone, Dunleavy replaces Bellineli.

Welcome to the board.
