No...the keyword is STRAWMAN...which is the way you are arguing your point. Most likely because you know you are wrong.

how am i grasping for straws?

this thread is not even about Jerry being cheap...the only reason he was brought up is because JosMin brought him up...and i made one little comment about how Jerry is hurting the Bulls because players FEEL hes a cheap owner and you're trying to twist my words and make this thread about something its not

to put it simple: im not saying Jerry is cheap...im saying thats the impression ppl have

now can we get back to paxson and forman?

If the TWolves end up missing the playoffs this year, I think Kevin Love may very well request a trade. He's already stated his frustrations with the teams regular season woes and his problems with the FO, starting with how Kahn came out and said he wasn't a star because he hadn't made the playoffs. While we suck this year, we still have quite a few valuable assets, potentially that we could package together in order to get him. He already works out with D Rose in the off season and had talked about teaming up with him(as well as Westbrook) at some point. I think he would be a great fit and that he may actually want to come here.

In that case, maybe the Bulls should make Reggie Rose an assistant coach.

Derrick could reach out his hand and try recruiting as well.
It couldnt hurt.
He knows he needs the help.
A closed mouth dont get fed.
There was a recent report that he shares agents with LMA & it's been reported that the agents are trying to get Aldridge in Chicago. That's called recruiting.

BTW, exactly what players did you want him to recruit these lase few years?

-Wade, Lebron, & Bosh wanted to play together in Miami.

-Carmelo Anthony wanted to play in ONLY NY.

-Dwight Howard left LA even after Kobe begged him to come & re-sign there. He wanted to be the MAN, in which Harden allowed him to be.

Tell me the players that Rose was supposed to recruit, but didn't recruit.

I wouldn't mind LaMarcus either tbh, at first I didn't really like the idea of adding him but he just continues to improve year after year. He's been a monster this year.

And why is that? Is it because Reinsdorf is cheap...or because he knew Gordon wasn't worth that type of money? If Gordon can only excel as a Bull, then the proof is there that he needed the Bulls more than the Bulls need him...period.

I know Ben needed the Bulls MORE than the Bulls needed him.....
But that does not mean they both didnt need each other.....

The point i was making was that you have no proof that ben gordons career would of taken such downward spiral had he remained a Bull.

I think things would of turned out much differently for both Gordon and the Bulls had he remained......Thats all i was saying.....

Thanks for coming. :)

Oh, my fault, I thought "championship" is the keyword. But I understand that I value titles more than others. Carry on then...

you dont value titles more than me..

And what the hell does Ben Gordon have to do with championship?
I certainly havnt EVER bluntly said that Ben Gordon equals championships...And what the Hell does Ben Gordon have to do with this thread conversation?......lmao.....

Back to thread topic....

Forget about ben friggin gordon...FUCK BEN GORDON...HIS CAREER HAS BEEN DONE SINCE HE LEFT....OK?.....END OF BEN GORDON STORY...
..The Bulls have much MUCH MORE BiGGER PROBLEMS FROM TOP TO BOTTOM AT THIS POINT....YOU WANT CHAMPIONSHIPS? WELL GUESS WHAT, THIS BULLS ROSTER AS CURRENTLY CONSTRUCTED, AND THIS FRONT OFFICE MEANS N O C H A M P I O N S H I P ARE ON THE WAY ANY TIME SOON...THIS BULL ORGINIZATION ARNT CLOSE TO ANY CHAMPIONSHIPS...........UNDERSTAND?
I WANT CHAMPIONSHIPS JUST AS MUCH AS YOU.
IT TAKES SUPERSTARS TO ACCOMPOLISH THAT.....THE BULLS HAVE ZERO SUPERSTARS......ZERO.....AND IT TAKES AT LEAST TWO STARS ON A TEAM TO WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS.....WHICH MEANS WHAT?...IT MEANS WE ARE A LONG WAY OFF .. GET IT?.....I KNOW I DO....
SOME OF THESE YOUNGER BULLS POSTERS HAVNT EXPERIENCED BULLS CHAMPIONSHIPS LIKE WE HAVE, SO THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THERE MISSING......TO THEM, DERICK ROSE IS THE BEST PLAYER THEYVE WITNESSED ON THE BULLS IN THERE LIFETIME..NOT FOR US...DERRICK NEVER REALLY DID IT FOR ME IN THE FIRST PLACE BUT HE WAS REAL GOOD BEFORE INJURIES, BUT NOT THAT DAMNED GOOD.....
..IVE WITNESSED AND FOLLOWED JORDAN AND PIPPEN FROM THE BEGGINING OF THERE CAREERS AND THOSE TEAMS THAT SURROUNDED THEM..it was built from the top to bottom starting with Jordan as the center piece..It took MANAGEMENT and drafting ATHLETIC TALENT for our second star to back Jordan up who developed as planned(Scottie Pippen)...Management brought in or kept the proper pieces around those 2 Stars and mafe the proper moves snd signings to do so...It took only 6 years to build a dynasty...Jerry Krause (the GM) gets alot of credit from me for that...
...SO YOU OF ALL PEOPLE SHOULD UNDERSTAND AS I DO, THAT THIS ORGINIZATION NEEDS A NEW REGIME IN POWER IN THE FRONT OFFICE FOR STARTERS AND YOU FRIGGIN KNOW IT.

So tell me how PaxGar are going to bring titles to chicago..

Come on, tell me your master plan for PaxGar.......
Weve never heard you tell us what YOUR master plan is because youve never gave any specifics on what the Bulls are to do.

So whats the plan Mr. CHAMPION....
IM NOT PICKING A FIGHT WITH YOU BRUTHAAAAAAA!!!!!
I JUST AM EXTREMELY INTERESTED IN YOUR PLAN.
I REALLY REALLY WANT YOU TO ENLIGHTEN ME WITH YOUR EXPERTISE.....THANK YOU......YOUR POSTS ARE VALUED BY ME.......

Lol, this should be good.

GAR FOREMAN the general manager.
Link Below, dont forget to read the 100s of replies from bulls fans after this article..Its the best part of the link below.

http://m.espn.go.com/general/story?storyId=10042229&city=chicago&src=desktop

*general manager Gar Forman said Tuesday the team is "positioned well" and has no immediate plans to make dramatic changes to the roster.

Asked again if the franchise is still confident it can build its team around Rose, Forman did not hesitate. "Yeah" he said.....LOL.....

The front office wants to continue building solely around Rose as the main guy and leader.
Really?
LoL

i enjoyed reading the comments from the majority of Bulls fans at the end of the article.
Article is linked on top of this post.
The 100s of people who posted comments after the article on the website i linked all pretty much want the same thing.
TO FIRE JOHN PAXSON AND GAR FOREMAN.....I Think Jerry should give the people what they want.....We are the people that fill his seats and pockets.
Most people of all walks of life outside this messageboard seem to be on the same page with SP94

:oprah:

The Bulls front office is stubborn and delusional and passive.
Cant move on until these guys in power are OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Same delusions of grandeur and same stand pat mentalitly will continue if they continue to rule the Bulls future.

I really get tired of the "your boy Paxson" b.s. I have criticized Paxson in the past....what I don't do is the elementary b.s. like blame him for things he can't control. When I point out the effort he puts in to get Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, Kevin Garnett, Lebron James, Dwyane Wade....those are future HOFers that he has gone after and could not get. The reply is dumb shit like "he showed Lebron the wrong video"....what?

But I see what YOU are doing, and others like you. The only way you can get through a season where the Bulls don't matter...is to whine about GarPax? It is nobody's fault that some of you can't see past your nose when it comes to running an NBA team. It has been painfully obvious for two years now that Paxson was trying to set the team up for next summer. i said that on here 2 years ago. I stated that Paxson knows that Luol Deng isn't the second guy on a title team. That while the Bulls were a very good team, they would need some type of implosion in Miami to make the outcome better.

Constantly berating Hinrich is silly...and usually done by Gordon fans like yourself. Hinrich isn't the cause of the Bulls issues, so why constantly bring him up? His problem has been health-related, same as other players on the team. To make the moves they need to make, they don't seem interested in taking on a bunch of cap space in the future unless it is for a legit star player who can be the number 1 option. That is where Carmelo comes in. History shows that he is the type of player they go after.

Maybe you should worry a little less about my intentions and find out why Paxson and Forman do things a certain way. Cap rules have something to do with it.
