cause UK sucks...i know i will be getting an offer from the schools i listed after this season once i beat one of their teams. lol

i have a very good squad, i am expecting a Sweet Sixtee, an Elite 8 on the bracket, then bounce to a big school...or since my top 10 players consist of 2 juniors, 1 senior(who doesn't even start.) and the rest are underclassmen, i might give it another season or two to hit the final four and pick from any school i want.

im still playing my dynasty but im done posting it

takes too long
boring
no one posts on it cept for you

but im in the final final of year 7 which is arguably the best team i have had so far

lost only 2 games in the reg season

averaged over 100 PPG so far in the tourney
scored 111 against nevada in the SS and beat them by 38
beat #10 and all A+ purdue by 25 in the EE

this team would probably beat 1990-1 unlv

Holy Cross Into The Finals

In a game which Holy Cross dominated, you would have thought the score was more lopsided than it really was. Down by 14 with a couple of minutes left, Old Dominion was getting hammered in every statistical category, except for the three-point percentage. Old Dominion was 9 for 9 on their ball attempts and in the final 2 minutes added four more. Jonathan Hartley hit the front end of a one and one and missed the second to put Holy Cross up 66-63 with 6 seconds left. Old Dominion quickly got the ball up court but with 2 fouls to give the Crusaders fouled with 2.7 seconds left, forcing Old Dominion to set up an inbounds play. The ball was inbounded safely, sophomore Alex Abbott got right up on his man and forced Ray Grant to throw up a wild shot, which fell harmlessly to the ground. Now the Crusaders move on to the finals where they get to battle it out with the Michigan Wolverines, the nation's #21 team.

Holy Cross Falls To the Wolverines

"Myself and the team are extremely disappointed, we came in and gave it our all, but sometimes the shots just don't fall, and that was the case. We keep getting the pre-season tournament finals, but so far we haven't been able to take home the big prize." those were the words of Coach Polley after the tough 67-63 loss to Michigan Wednesday night. Like Coach Polley said, the shots just weren't falling. The team shot an abysmal 31% from the field and went 0-4 from behind the arc. Alex Abbott led all scorers with 22 points, and Morgan Newsom added 14. The rest of the team failed to reach double digits.

I didn't read through all the posts.

Are you doing this on NCAA Basketball 10? Or are you one of those guys that gets the roster updates and plays College Hoops 2K8?

Butler Downs Holy Cross

The Butler Bulldogs snapped the Crusader's two-game winning streak Friday Night with a 75-67 win. Justin Polley and Jonathan Hartley spoke with us after the game "We came out flat, and didn't play well. When you have more talent than the opponent, you expect to win. Tonight it didn't happen. The kid next to me played an outstanding game, but besides him, the rest of the team didn't show up." Jonathan, what do you and the team need to work on in practice to improve? "We need to work harder in practice. As a team we are starting to take our opponents not as seriously as we should, and it is showing with our losses against Butler and Michigan, two teams in which we had more talent."

Holy Cross Triumphs On the Road!

It is has dissected through the radio and internet about the team's inconsistency this season. Well tonight was not the case. Holy Cross walked into Cincinatti's home building with a swagger, and they backed it up. The Bear Cats who were the nation's #10 team in the nation, and also arguably with the nation's best player, Lance Stephenson. Once #10 in the nation, probably no more as the Crusaders thrashed their opponent 71-54. Jonathan Harley scored a remarkable season high of 41 points, Alex Abbott tossed in 24 and Morgan Newsom chipped in 12.

Holy Cross Wins C-USA at the Buzzer!

In one of the most exciting games and high scoring games of the season, Holy Cross came out on top by defeating Memphis 88-86. Holy Cross started the first half off shooting the rock red hot and Memphis matched them step for step. Memphis, unranked coming into the game did not back down from the nation's #22 Holy Cross Crusaders. In the first half, Holy Cross shot 75% from the field but did little from behind the arc, the opposite was for Memphis. The Tigers only shot 51% from the field in the first half, but nailed 8 threes. Even with Holy Cross's shooting performance, the Tigers led at the half 49-44 and kept that lead for a while in the second half. The Tigers stretched their lead to 65-57 and Coach Polley subbed in freshman three-point specialist Kevin Armstrong. Armstrong responded quickly nailing two threes in 31 seconds to pull the Crusaders within 1. The game remained tight down the stretch but Memphis held the lead 86-81 when Jonathan Hartley took the biggest risk of the season when he pulled up for a three on a 3 on 1 fastbreak advantage. Lucky for him and the Crusaders he buried to make the score 86-84. On the next possession Memphis was at the line for a one and one and missed the front end, Hartley led the assault and threaded the needle with a beautiful pass to Alex Abbott who was storming down the lane and threw it down. With 22 seconds left Abel Spivey jumped the passing lane and picked off a pass. The Crusaders slowed it down and got it to Harley. With 6 seconds he fed the ball into Abbott in the post and defending him was 6'1 guard Grant Hughes. Abbott faked left then right, spun around and easily put up his baby hook over Hughes to win the game at the buzzer.

Crusaders To Play Kansas In Second Round

Usually games aren't over in the first 10 minutes, this one was. Holy Cross came out and just torched the nets, starting the game on a 14-0 run. Creighton, who Holy Cross beat earlier in the season showed no effort on the floor. Once they were down, they made no effort to get back up. Alex Abbott scored 36 and Newsom scored 21. The Crusaders get #3 seeded Kansas Jayhawks Saturday afternoon at 2:15.

Jayhawks End Crusaders Season in Blowout

Like the Crusaders previous game, this game was over within the first 10 minutes. This time Holy Cross was on the other end of the blowout this time as they were handed a 106-71 loss. Justin Polley had no comments on the season's end, and neither did any of the players. Alex Abbott and Morgan Newsom, the Crusader's two most consistent players all year led the team with 19 and 16 points.

I see. I always wanted to do the - lead small school to the title - thing, but I always end up just playing with Illinois.

You'll have to hold on to NCAA 10 now since there won't be NCAA 11, maybe no more EA college basketball altogether. I think they'll just sit out a year and come back in 2012.

yeah i agree. I'm kinda pissed, cause i am a Duke fan and wanted to play with Duke so BADLY next season since we will be pre-season #1. I probably won't lead Holy Cross to the title,i will bounce for Duke or M-State when the chance arrives probably.
