It'll come. I'm willing to wait if the move is good.

I don't need them making shitty signings/trades just to do it.

I think well make a fairly big trade, sign a bullpen arm and maybe another move depending on the trade we make. I think we package Santiago for a good catcher. I'm thinking Weiters

Look at this awful trade proposal that a guy from ESPN made for a three team trade for Chris Sale.

Cubs: Trade Mike Olt, C.J. Edwards, Jorge Soler, Dan Vogelbach, acquire Chris Sale, David Phelps

Yankees: Trade Gary Sanchez, Zoilo Almonte, Vidal Nuno, Phelps, acquire Addison Reed, Olt, Vogelbach

White Sox: Trade Sale, Reed, acquire Edwards, Soler, Sanchez, Almonte, Nuno

First of all if I'm trading Sale to the Cubs I expect Bryant and Almora as the main pieces. Then Edwards, Vogelbach and a wild card prospect. But that trade is just brutal and a total steal for the Cubs.

Teams always think they can get Sale for peanuts after Dayton Moore sold Greinke for pennies on the dollar.

No way I'd trade Sale. He's a young left handed ace under control for the next like four years.

High OBP in the minors.

I wonder if they give him a shot if Beckham is rubbish come May or June?

Beckham was hurt so I would think they'll give him another chance, albeit probably his last chance. Marcus Semien needs time in AAA Charlotte but I figure he'll end up in third when its all said and done. (Unless we can snag Brett Lawrie :cum: :fap: )

I like his OB in the minors too, but his OPS is bad. And his speed seems to not translate to the bigs though it appears he wasn't the best guy taking lead offs given how many times he was caught. I think he's a utility guy if he has a glove and range as his high water mark.
