I get sore knees and shoulders (also fucked up my pec two weeks ago from not taking enough rest days), would that balm help?

I've never looked into CBD stuff, but I'm definitely interested in anything that helps with recovery.

Works for my shoulders, but I also take CBD oil drops from a tincture, so unsure which of the products is contributing what.

Others that I have referred that balm product to, including my father in law, have reported moderate to significant improvement.

With salves and balms, there are many that have other analgesic compounds in them, like camphor or menthal. The science is not there yet to prove or disprove it's efficacy, but a third can possibly be helped by the placebo effect. Any company claiming straight out that CBD cream helps with muscle or skeletal inflammation is just using pure marketing at this point.

So picked up some of the stuff you recommended, I have a sore pectoral from over working it (stupid me) and it definitely helped a hell of a lot more than the icy hot trash I was using.

Good tip.

Checking in 4 a bump

I'm down to 170 from a fat dgaf 185 with absolutely no keto or weird restrictive dieting and just weight training and protein to go along with that.

Goal was to maintain weight and just be lean but lol that is impossible I guess.

I'm seeing nothing but sinewy iron arms and legs and a slight paunch but a classic barrel upper body. I look less like E.T. these days and more like someone who boxes with a handlebar mustache and rides one of those bikes with a huge wheel in the front. Dadbod no more but still kinda a weirdbod I guess. If I had more stout thighs I could actually qualify for "brick shithouse" status but at least they are well marbled
..

I still look like Paul Newman, the Cool Hand Luke version. My condolences.

It's all good. My cheekbones are becoming more defined fwiw, like my youthful pics. So that's cool but all of my fat seems to go right to my abdomen and the weirdest thing is at 20 to 30 I had the sickest abs like girls would lick them and do coke off of them.

I firmly believe in hubris centric karma now until someone tells me that isnt a thing.

All fuckery aside my goal is achieved in a way. I'm the most hoss in my life without just chilling out. New goal is becoming more flexible.

This is the best body type to have. It says, hey I like to work out, but I'm not a dbag who only eats romaine lettuce and legumes and will talk your head off about cross fit.

Better romaine lettuce and legumes than cinnamon rolls and chile.

About 8 weeks from race day. Down to 180lbs from my power phase weight of around 185-190 as I increase the running workload/volume. Should be down to around 172 by race day. A 1:25-1:28 half marathon seems likely.

Track workout last night of mile repeats with 400m jog in between. 6:47, 6:32, 6:24, 5:50.

Feeling strong. Rest of week is progressive/negative split runs and a long recovery run of 12 miles on Sunday.

I miss long distance running. Doing it competitively was brutal, but leisurely, it was so relaxing.
