I initially stopped because of some health issues. I wasn't at all physically active for about 3 years after that... I went from easily running 20 miles to struggling to run for 20 seconds Haha. When I started to workout again, my main goals were to put on weight and gain more muscle mass.Why don't you do it anymore?
My man First Timer still a cardio kingAbout 8 weeks from race day. Down to 180lbs from my power phase weight of around 185-190 as I increase the running workload/volume. Should be down to around 172 by race day. A 1:25-1:28 half marathon seems likely.
Track workout last night of mile repeats with 400m jog in between. 6:47, 6:32, 6:24, 5:50.
Feeling strong. Rest of week is progressive/negative split runs and a long recovery run of 12 miles on Sunday.
