They should because there was talk about it at the end of last year. When nothing changes you do it at the start of this year.

But they won't because McCaskeys have the final say in everything.
The good new is he probably is gone eventually. They don't like this being stirred up week after week. And this is too early in the season for them to whitewash it away like last year.

They seriously haven’t won a Sunday road game since hiring Flus? WTF, how is that an actual stat for an NFL coach? 0-17 on Sunday road games is insane.
And it’s how they lost those road games. Enough to fire a motherfucker!

You give him too much credit, I think it moved to 0-18 after today
How is even possible for even the stupid McCaskeys to keep this guy around??!!

Oh yea, now I remember, was it 5/6 years ago after a Packer game in GB, the McCaskey's met the coaching staff in the visitor locker room and expressed how mad mommie was about losing again to the Packers. So what did king George do, hire the wrong guys AGAIN, kept the wrong guys around to long AGAIN, and yes, continued to lose to the Packers every game since, AGAIN.

They were gifted this team, if it wasn't for this gift these morons would be living in a two bedroom duplex, all 16 of them, including mommie.

I think he only has 1 or 2 wins vs winning teams. Its insane the Poles decided to keep this idiot knowing he was drafting a QB

Teams crowd the LOS because they know it would take a miracle for CW to complete a long ball. They take the gamble and it usually works out for them. Plus, the Bears rarely call a slant or a square in. Those plays are great for backing off defenses.
That leaves the Bears with the short passing game and the run, but the run is getting stuffed because the defenses are right there at the LOS.

It sure is a mess!

I find it exceptionally hard to believe this HC hire is believed to be Poles true wishes and that retaining this HC that has hindered Poles' vision of the rebuild is believed to be Poles' decision.

Poles the failed olineman didn't come in here preaching trenches to disguise his true plan of drafting all the DBs until he finds 4 super stars. Everything about Flus screams McCaskey hire.

As far as the retention goes, the Bears not firing coaches early is a history that can't be pinned on Poles.

I'm kind of in the same boat.

When you take a look at Matt eberflus at the end of last season in that end of your presser, He literally looked like he had just been put through hell. He looks like a man who had been told after being put through the ringer that he barely escaped with his job.

Now you have Caleb Williams in house. You have a dad of Caleb Williams who is actively involved in wanting his kid to be great calling out the coaches. Same dad by the way who tried to get a no franchise tag clause in his contract.

Honestly, all this talk about Poles being attached to Eberflus sounds like either has to be coming from Matt's camp, or maybe even McCaskeys, but I just don't think Poles is going to throw away his own job in order to fight for Matt.

Now you also have Kevin Warren trying to negotiate stadium deals.

There are too many reasons to fire Eberflus, and you already have Ben Johnson's camp putting out feelers through that report from Albert Breer.

We just have to keep Caleb alive until the end of the season.

So if they did fire Eberflus, who would serve as the interim coach? Shane Waldron? lol
