it's wasting a year of Williams' development, but all the actual good players are burning another year on their deals and getting older also. it took a lot of sacrifice and egg on faces to get to this point and it's just a total waste of time and money. I wasn't on the playoffs or bust bandwagon, I always said no playoffs. they're just not there yet. and for as much as they've splurged in various areas except OL the results are pretty underwhelming thus far.

The roookie QB was legit attempting to position DBs from the sideline in a very obvious situation late in the Commanders game to defend the 10-15 yard out because it was legitimately the only option Washington had and the Head Coach/former Defensive Coordinator couldn’t be bothered to do anything or call one of his three timeouts with 12 seconds remaining. I honestly cannot comprehend how Flus is still employed. Hes a nice guy apparently but he’s a dogshit NFL head coach. The problem is that the Bears value how likable people are instead of professional competence. This team would be better off with zero head coach and offensive coordinators and let the players run it schoolyard style. It’s legit addition by subtraction at this point. Short of bringing in a criminal that is going to assault players or steal shit from the facility, you literally cannot do any worse.
