No different than Kobe. I get he's a great player and exciting to watch, but for me the whole rape thing doesn't get overlooked.
Personally for Chicago athletes I'd prefer Walter Payton, Ernie Banks or Dick Butkus. If you need a hockey player go with Stan Mikita or Bobby Hull.

as popular as the Blackhawks are, hockey still has to be a distant #4 behind Bears, Bulls, Cubs/Sox. so I don't really understand how he would be 2nd only to Jordan. maybe if you go based on a contemporary criteria, but not lifetime.
with the Blackhawks being utter shit you can get tickets for like $15. the Cubs literally blew up their entire team over the summer and still sold out games. Sox had one of their rare good playoff runs so they actually had people show up to games again too. I'm just saying.
