My favorite teams
Bored enough to do this list....this ones for @Omeletpants
Foods....
1. Pasta.... plain, marinara, ravioli, al Fredo, doesn’t matter. I make a box of ditalini and put it in my Mr’s. Grass chicken soup that is already extra noodle.
1a......BACON. Enough said.
2. Hot Dogs and Sausages...... Chicago style or chili cheese with mustard and onions, or just onions and mustard. Must have steamed buns. Breakfast sausages links or patties, brats, all varieties.
3. Steak.....don’t care the cut but it has to be cooked med more than medium for me. Salt and pepper should be enough. Love a good steak with mushrooms and onion topping. Sometimes I dash a couple drops of A1 just to get little crazy but not very often.
4. Soup. Love soups. Chicken noodle, pasta fagioli, gnocchi with potato, Beans with ham..Sounds funny but Mrs Grass is my favorite for some reason.
5. Ribs..... love ribs especially smoked low and slow. Favorite is dry rubbed with sauce on the side but will not turn down any way they are prepared.
6. Brisket.... especially, for some reason, the burnt ends.
7. Hamburgers.....open flame grilled, flattop, doesn’t matter. I don’t mind a burger with mix of beef and pork or a brisket mix burger. Hell I had the butcher grind up filet mignon once for tailgate burgers. With cheese, mustard onion pickle and lettuce is my favorite way but can eat them plain as long as they aren’t cooked well done.
8. Eggs...I love over medium eggs on top of biscuits, toast, muffin, crumpet...buttered and of course with salt and pepper. Omelette with mushroom, onion, ham sausage, bacon. just about anything.
9. Pizza....I love thin crust pizza but will not turn down the thick crust. I don’t over top them. I try to keep it down to 2 ingredients like sausage and onion, or pepperoni and mushroom. I have gone wild and had a MOPS pie. Monicals and Vito & Nicks are my 2 Favorites.
