I think the Bears organization has shown in recent years that the players are more than just cap numbers. See, Chris Harris, Johnny Knox, Anthony Adams, and probably others we don't know about. I think it's unfair for Peanut to paint them in that light. Just my opinion.

I don't think Tillman painted them in a bad light, I would say he painted them in a realistic light. We as fans end up growing an emotional attachment to players. The fan favorites will always be worth more to the fans than what they really should be paid. But the reality of the situation is the Bears FO has to treat most decisions like its a business. In the end, their job is to look out for the future of the franchise. The phrase, "the team is in win now mode" gets thrown out a bunch but the smart GM's know how to tango with the line of win now and plan for the future.

Tillman is right, it's all business, and it's the same rules the rest of us live by. A very small amount of people will make in their lifetime what some of these guys make in a year. Tillman wasn't whining about it, but I hate players that do. The Robbie Gould, "I have to feed my family comment" pissed me off for sure.

Works both ways as well. Both Urlacher and Tillman were PAID before they were dissed. Tillman made $8m last year and the poor guy is 'only' making $3m this. Players only give home town discounts because they personally desire the stability of home and team. I guess that's sentimental but it's also in their best interests. When you get to test the market and the home town still gives you the best deal, that's as sentimental as it gets.

Seems Emery has a very good sense of value. I did question the amount he paid Forte but only because he's a RB. Seems they were all over valued at the time and we had to keep him.

After seeing what Forte looks like in a capable offense any lingering doubts about his contract have faded.

That was hilarious when he said that. He seems like a whiney little *****.

As for Tillman, love the guy as a Bear but he needs to stop acting like a crabby old sourpuss since his man Lovie got fired. Lance seems much more in time with the team, and Tillman just seems like he is grumpy and doesn't like being a Bear anymore. Yes I get he re-signed but he really does seem like a grouch

I feel like my tee ball team of 5-7 year ollds are a bunch on whiny bitches.

"I can't pull the sled"

"Don't throw the ball at my face"

WTF

What do Desperbro?
Dear Blaze,

Make them run. If they whine more have breakdown tee ball film at home.I also recommend a midnight wake up call to go to the diamond; many clients see good results with sleep deprived children.

Good luck! Keep me updated.

I have tried talking to parents reasonably. Most recently the question was WTF is a football bat and why does your ***** ass son swing it? No results at this time I am sad to report. I plan on fluffing my neckbeared in the morning like a frilled lizard while I yell at them to put their big boy panties on. I figure that shoulld work.

Yeah Urlacher was pissed at the Bears and they offered him more than any other team I believe.
