lol we stayed right next to gastown and that fucking clock. I did like the view of the harbor and biking around stanley island, though (although I almost went into the water a few times thanks to asshole pedestrians)

I spend a lot of time on the seawall in Stanley Park. One of the things that has kept me from leaving.

Church people are notorious terrible tippers. Especially in large groups. I'm sad to be associated with them.

How do you guys feel about tipping at a buffet? I tip but usually the minimum.
Sent from Heaven. On a cloud.

Depends on how hot the waitress is. If I get a waiter, he's shit out of luck.

Yeah, to each their own. You are very generous.

But you have to wonder how the evolution of tipping came about. I'm sure it started from someone saying, "Hey, this meal was the best I've ever had!", or "This was much better than usual!", warranting cost of a little something more than usual (i.e. more money).

But now, in today's society, the tip has become part of the baseline price, defeating the whole idea behind it, it seems.

Theoretically its supposed to be part of the baseline price. But there are still a lot of shitty tippers.

The upshot of the system compared to a fixed rate is that if you are a regular at a bunch of places and tip decently, they will remember you and take care of you.

I can only remember not tipping a handful of times. It takes pretty bad service for me not to tip at least 10%. For good service I go 15% and great service is 20%.

The weird one for me are car washes. I had no idea that people tipped at them until my dealership included a years membership at a local carwash chain. Now I have to make sure I have cash on hand to stop at the car wash... Grrr.

Can't share God's truth if you refuse to share God's wealth.

At a buffet i tip 15% and a buck per omlette

15% being my minimum. I've heard people say I only give God 10% why would I give a waitress more. I immediately punched them in the face.

For both I hope. Giving is worship...not a bill...

Is this thread about anal encounters in which you "only put the tip in?" (I'm too lazy to wade through 8 pages on such a mundane subject, but carry on anyhow)

He took offense to the word "boys" it's no wonder why he went crazy when Brandon Marshall owned him.

Is he still broke?
