Andrew Miller apparently to the Indians per Ken Rosenthal. If they get him and Lucroy they will be pretty tough.
If Lucroy says yes, their WS favoritesI was just coming to post this. They have to now be the overwhelming favorite in the AL.

Cubs still need to add a solid LH bat , Cogs not that answer

Sounds like he veto'd because some of the players reportedly in that deal are in the Miller deal.
11:08pm: Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports tweets that top catching prospect Francisco Mejia would head to the Brewers in the deal. Yahoo’s Jeff Passan tweets that one of left-hander Justus Sheffield or right-hander Triston McKenzie could be in the deal as well, and Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer also mentions Sheffield as a possibility (Twitter link). Rosenthal tweets that shortstop Yu-Cheng Chang and outfielder Greg Allen are going to the Brewers as well, if he approves the trade.
I had read earlier that the yanks liked the players in Indians system better then cubs..The yanks farm system is going to be crazy good. They turned 2 relievers into Torres, McKinney, Crawford, and Warren plus Clint Frazier, Justus Sheffield, Ben Heller and J.P. Feyereisen. Feel like the cubs got a bit played in this one. Apparently they wanted Miller more than Chapman and the return cleveland gave up was basically the same. Frazier and Torres are similar prospects. Sheffield is a bottom top 100 guy. Heller is cleveland's #30 prospect and Feyereisen is much.
After this NY has the #24, #26, #27, #32, #39, #64, and #99 prospects. If there is one silver lining it's that they don't yet possess top 10 types but damn that's a deep farm system and they will be able to go after IFA's again next year I believe.
This is why I didn't like the Chapman deal. Nats gave up so much less to get Melancon. Now maybe the pirates wouldn't have dealt with the cubs but the point was always there were different options out there. Oh well, what's done is done.

So, they may have the ones they received from Indians ranked higher on their chart

I remember a few guys here that claimed Theo was going to abuse Cashman. IdiotsMaybe but given the way it all played out, feels like Cashman totally used the cubs desperation to drive up the price for them and then that made the price on Miller even more clear and the cubs not only end up with the less desirable player from their perspective but they also payed a ton to get him. I'm not going to be super bent over it forever but I obviously didn't like the move to begin with that much and the fact it played out like this doesn't really help matters.
Also Lucroy exercised his veto.
