Watson holding the ball was mentioned in the post you responded to so don't really understand you emphasis there and since he does hold the ball that long and still does very well, why you supposed doing so under less pressure wouldn't help matters, especially if he's more able to roll. He'll also have Stills added to the receiving core. It's a 3rd year QB and anything could happen but better protection and places to throw should have a QB doing better than the year before. That O is what it is due to O'Brien's personnel.

Watson doing awesome is only a somewhat better than he's been doing. His #s have been near awesome since he's been in the league.

Are you even reading? I talked about his time to throw suddenly improving...after two years where its been clearly established he is the league's worst quarterback at getting the ball out on time. I'm strictly talking about zero belief in him suddenly being far better at getting the ball out faster. Its not going to happen. People last season said its his coach's fault because of play calling. Which I don't buy into fwiw but its the reason I said what I said.

If you don’t think that the Tunsil trade was bad for the Texans, just remember that he’s going to likely be the highest paid LT in the league as well. You dont give up that bounty and not extend a player. Tunsil has ALL the leverage in the world.

Two first and a 3rd. I mean Tunsil is an above average LT but at least he is still young. So the texans have their LT of the future for at least 5 years min barring injury

Really where did you say anything about his time to throw improving.
I just don't see it. Did Watson get a new head coach? A new offensive coordinator? Otherwise I don't see how he's magically going to do a hell of a lot better than he has the last two years. He literally had the worst time to throw of all quarterbacks in 2017 and he was only 2nd to worst in 2018 with less than a tenth of a second of improvement in time to throw.
You objected to a post I made that said his numbers could be even better with more time to throw and even said it was because he holds the ball to long. You are in your own fucking world, dude. Jesus, this is my that post you protested to while informing us that he holds the ball to long.

"That line should be effectively fixed but still won't rank well unless Watson stops holding the ball that long. On the other hand, Watson's own stats may be awesome this year. "

How does having more time to throw not help him. WTF?

And you can have the last word. I'm not doing a circle jerk, he said, she said on this. If you have an issue with me, keep it in your pants until you actually have a fucking point.

How are you still not understanding that which has been clarified already? I only am talking about his time to throw suddenly improving. Or do you not realize "time to throw" is literally the name of an actual statistic? One that measures the averaged time a quarterback takes to throw the ball over the course of a season...

I had the same reaction he did.

You cited that his issue has been time to throw, pointed out an addition to the O line that should help that, and concluded it will NOT help.

True, but is a good LT a game changer? Maybe he’ll be the difference for their offense, idk.

Not as funny as watching another generation of Detroit fans never experience a playoff win or oters become senior citizens before witnessing a second playoff win.

Which is nowhere near as funny as watching MT play QB. Best QB in Bears history? Nevermind, there isn't one.

As usual you are fucking clueless, err a Detroit fan. The could have just traded him for a conditional pick with starting over Fatford being the condition, instead they assured themselves a top 5 7th round pick by trading for the poster child for perennial losers.

And yet you find it funny that the "fleeced" Pace and MT made the playoffs in only the second season since the trade and the Lions continue their run as the worst franchise in all of sports.

Hilarious you say, let's talk hilarious,

The four leagues have added 20 teams since the Lions last won a playoff game, and they've combined for 118 playoff-round wins.

?????????????????????
Call me when Mitch has Calvin fucking Johnson to throw it up to. Mitch will throw for 4000+ yards and 30 TDs this season though. Also will stomp the Lions twice.

This just in. MT sucks. And yes, you did get fleeced.

Does it upset you James Daniels who we got in the second round is better than Frank Ragnow who you guys picked in the first? Mitch will throw for 4000+ yards and 30 TDs this season though.
Does it bother you that your a complete idiot and couldn't be more wrong on MT and James Daniels?

So quick to claim victory are we? Last I checked Ragnow was on IR and the Bears did in fact stomp the Lions twice, once with a back up QB in Detoilet and on national TV. I don’t see why we can’t shit on your team again this year.

Ragnow on IR? Which goes to show you didn't check at all. Weren't you the one too quick to claim victory after all?

Here he is making not one but two key blocks (one downfield) last Sunday. BTW, he has started both games, not bad for a guy on "IR"

Oh, and that's what it looks like to have a qb that doesn't stare down his primary receiver, in case you were wondering.

Okay? We literally beat the Lions without a starting QB LMAO. And you're right I did not check the Lions injury report they usually do a pretty good job of being irrelevant and a laughing stock regardless of who is hurt. And nah victory was claimed when we swept the Lions last season - this season remains to be seen

Your backup is better than your starter. 28.8 QBR? Call me when he throws a TD pass, ok? Yup, you beat us two times last year, how about the 4 years before that?

This year we will reserve "laughing stock" to the Bears Offense.

You bring up the last 4 years when I bring up sweeping the Lions last season. You call the Bears offense a laughing stock and I'll counter with there is no bigger laughing stock than not winning a play off game or winning the division in this millennium. I knew I would hear from you eventually, but this is more underwhelming than Mitch's 28.8 QBR. Here let me save you some time and provide your next come back for you:
The Bears are the only team ever to finish last in the NFCN 4 years in a row!!! LOLOL

Nothing is more underwhelming than Mitch's 28.8 QBR. Nothing. Period. Call me when he finally throws a TD pass.

I feel like not winning a play off games in almost 30 seasons or having both of the best players in the history of your franchise walk away at 30 must be up there.

It will be funny watching Bears fans this year when there turnover ratio and injury rate come back to the norm and they realize last year was mainly a product of luck. There is a reason no one is picking you to win the SB, or hardly anyone picking you to win the division even, your not all that.

I had to bump this post just so you Bears fans could take your frustrations out on a Lions fan. As much as I have enjoyed your Monday Meltdown, it is getting awfully dam repetitive.

Meh. The lack of turn overs isn’t the problem.
