Glad they didnt' call up Olsen. He needs more time in the AHL and we have the depth now so he doesn't need to be our 6th/7th dman.

Interesting they called up Stanton and not Clendening considering A.C. is having a pretty solid season. Have heard rumblings that he's been on a down streak though lately.

Supposedly Q said they're calling up 3 more tomorrow, I imagine Olsen would be one of them.

No doubt a few more will be called up in the next couple of days for a tryout.

Bolly and the Pats FTW!

Tough break for Monty, I imagine they will have to visit the notion of retirement soon.

Finally... it only took 4 years to move Bolland up. I wonder how long that lasts, I also wonder if they really give Pirri a shot.

If things stay the same (which they won't knowing Q) then we are looking at:

Carcillo/Toews/Hossa

Sharp/Bolland/Kane

Stalberg/Shaw/Frolik

Bickell/Kruger/Mayers

I don't really trust Shaw at center. I think Stalberg should be in the top six, why do they keep penciling Carcillo in there?

Keith/Seabrook

Oduya/Hjalmarsson

Leddy/Rozsival

Meh not bad. I would prefer seeing Brookbank with Leddy or putting him on the 2nd pairing with Hammer.

Bolland centers a line with Sharp and Kane and more of that here

also Toews centered Carcillo and Hossa.

Stan confirms Montador failed his physical and so did Olecz (knee)

Ugggh. I LOATHE Q's coaching stylings so goddamn much. WTF, way to waste top-end talent in Hossa and Toews. There's no time for this bullshit Q & Co. If you are finally giving Bolland another chance at 2C and then want Stalberg on Kruger's wing on the 3rd then stop dicking the **** around in this camp and fucking put Saad with Toews-Hossa.

Shaw is listed as a C, I thought? Anything's better than Kruger being there at this point.... -.-

Hell, Kruger should still be in Rockford as far as I'm concerned.

I remember Carcillo doing well on the top lines before that stupid knee injury.

I remember him doing well for a while. . .until he didn't do well. I remember him not remembering that he isn't an all-star world-beater scorer just because he was playing along side some, then I remember the stupid penalties starting, then I remember the healthy scratches. . .all this as he systematically and deservedly played himself down the lines chart until the knee injury.

This is understandable. I try to block it out too. Our brains are wondrous, elusive things that work in complex ways! Denial is a coping mechanism sometimes for trauma. For example, true story: One day late last summer I was talking to a friend who knows I love and follow the Hawks and they said something about the Hawks needing to do something or other roster-wise before Training Camp if there was going to be one because of the looming lockout and I literally said to them, "How's about the Hawks work on getting a fucking new Asst. coach so that they can actually have a full coaching staff if TC were to start!" and they kind of looked at me like I was crazy and were like I thought the Hawks got a new coach this summer and it was all LIGHTBULB bitchslap back to reality check moment and I shouted out, "Of fuuuuuck! That's right. Kampon!" Now mind you this was long after he'd been hired and I was well aware of his hiring and had long since done my bitching about it but I guess my poor little brain was being asked to do too much and I wanted to block it out so badly I was actually thinking the Hawks still needing an Asst. was reality, LOL. It was a nice imaginary place to be in for that moment though.

I honestly forgot Carcillo was on this team. Not sure if i care or not if he is but I certainly don't want him icing top line minutes although I sort of see the brain child there. I doubt he will anyways. He will be 4th lining in no time so Im not to concerned about what camp rosters look like. I do like the idea of having some toughness around Toews and Hossa though that's the only reason I understand the reasoning.

I LOOOOVE the idea of Sharp moving back to wing. Undecided if I like the line of him with Bolland and Kane though. Might work if it does indeed get used..might not. Can't say until I see it perform together. It's an interesting line. Looks odd at first but the more I chew on it I don't mind it..on paper that is.

Leddy is no 3rd pairing blueliner unless Q decides to use it less of a shut down pairing and more of a one stays back and one cheats type of pairing. Have never seen Leddy and Rozsival play together so who knows? Looks ugly on paper though. Again I cant really say anything until i see it on the ice.

Carcillo just isn't a top line player. It's a stupid move. If they want more grit on the top 2 lines, go get it... stop playing players where they don't belong. Where was Stan when van Riemsdyk was traded to Toronto? Evander Kane is floating out there... there's plenty of physical players available that can actually do something with the puck. Steve Ott was traded over the summer too. Carcillo will never be one of them -- it's like the Senators putting Chris Neil on the top line.
