Just simply saying that the Cowboys taking Jeanty isn't out of the question at all.
Yes, I think you can say this about a lot of teams.

Well you did say you don't see anyone from 11 to 19 having the need for a RB.
Teams may act in an illogical way. Dallas is one of those teams.

I don't discount DAL drafting him, I just don't think they are a particular threat compared to most others.

I actually think there's a real possibility the Raiders take jeanty at 6 if ward and sanders are gone. They had a pretty solid OL and still had an absolutely terrible run game because the rbs are awful. If they can't fix qb, might as well get a stud rb to help out whoever roles out at qb. Carroll loves him some running game too.
JAX is a fit too, they don't really have too many holes at premium positions, although I could see them taking Graham and Hunter for sure if he's there.

Just curious. Why would the Bengals trade a 17.5 sack guy for a 3rd round draft pick? Surely somebody would offer a 1st rounder.

Devin Neal is a good back, but he's kind of another Swift, but a little smaller. This team needs an all around back who can break tackles as well as make some longer runs.

Otherwise, very good mock.
Treveon Henderson fits the Johnson type of RB, he might be there for the bears in the 2nd round picks, for sure with the 1st 2nd round pick

You're worried he might go at 40 if the Bears don't take him at 39 and therefore not be available when the Bears pick again at 41?

Etienne fell off last year but tank Bigsby had a decent year.

Jerry just might throw a dart at a dart board of different players and positions on it when he's on the board with how much they need.

Having an intimate knowledge of the salary cap, studying the recent trends in trades/FA signings, and the available players this spring, @Aesopian is pretty certain that Trey Hendrickson will only cost a third round pick.

I'm not sure we really need to go further than that.

I based it off the Khalil Mack trade when he was the same age as Hendrickson at 31 years old. Mack got a second round and sixth round pick.

They had their best year when Etienne looked like a top 5 RB, so possible to think that RB is very valuable for them. Plus they have fewer holes imo than most teams picking high.

But Mack was nothing but injury prone at that point with a bloated contract.

They are likely moving forward with Tank Bigsby who looked great last year

it is a strong RB class, so he could fall that far, but so might Judkins Monangai and Skattebo which would be a good thing, until Poles doesn't listen to Johnson and picks the wrong guy

this is a very strong and deep DL class, so Idon't see Poles throwing out draft capitol and money for Hendrikson and the difference in your offer compared to the Mack trade is the 2nd round pick while you only suggested a 3rd

Most sports sites value him as a 2nd or 3rd round pick. I’m not the most knowledgeable on the situation he’s in.

Trade Compensation

At the very least, the Bengals get a second-round pick for Hendrickson, either this year or next year. But let’s assume no deal is made before this year’s draft as the two look to work something out in the coming months.

The Bengals should be shooting for a first-round pick in the 2026 draft. They may need to toss in one of their own Day 3 picks to make it happen, but it’s reasonable to think there’s a team out there willing to spend what they believe will be a late first-round pick for a legitimate Defensive Player of the Year candidate.

A second and either a third or fourth-round pick might be the most realistic best package Cincinnati could get.

You 100% are not getting Trey for a 3rd round pick. You have to know this.

This is what CBS & NBC value him at a second or third round pick.

He was solid running but zero in the pass game and ball security issues. I don't think they are going to take Jeanty, just putting it forward as a top 10 team that could.

CB would be a good pick for the Jags.

YEP Verse would have looked pretty good right now and Fiske is no slouch either

Nope

If the bears drafted an edge people would be crying that caleb has no one to throw to this year.

Rome will look like a star w/ ben johnson getting these guys wide open
