I don’t like that move with the holes the Bears still have on the offensive line but swapping picks may work.

I don’t think I like it either. I’d rather trade down from 10 into the teens and pick up a solid DL prospect. Then we’d still have 39, 41, and whatever we got from the trade down.

I support this plan. I think you are off about Membou however, he's rock solid at RT and likely going round 1.

Swapping firsts along with our 3rd would probably be the highest we could/should go. We'd still have 3 picks in the top 41 to address the need positions while hitting DE in a big way already.

I'd have to think he'll get it. Led all edges last year in sacks (18) and pressures (83). He's elite in every pass rushing metric available...he's insanely underrated.

Very most I'd give if I were the Bears would be a swap of 10 for 17 and a 3rd in 2026 (equivalent to to mid 2nd and jump into the top 10).

Otherwise- a swap of 41 for 80 (equivalent to a late 2nd) should be enough here. Teams can't go crazy in draft compensation because he's going to result in a mega contract that everyone knows Bengals won't/can't pay.

While I think Hendrickson is fucking awesome- my preference would be to use that money on multiple pieces (Dalman) in FA and keep the picks, but we'll see.

I think that's the more likely path as well but Poles hasn't been afraid to make splashes. And if we're going to try to make a run, now's the time while Caleb is still on his rookie deal.

We can't fix everything in this draft but if we keep the picks we have, we can roll the dice and an Edge with #10 if they like him ,and get two Offensive Linemen in the second round. And then hope there's a good enough running back in the 5th.

Potentially, that's addressing a lot of holes.
