"Trubisky has zero interest to return to the Bears" report is not true.

If we can't get any of the big names then i'm down with signing Alex Smith and drafting a QB somewhere in the draft. I guess he's not a free agent but i thought i saw that he was. Well then sign R.Fitzpatrick and draft a QB or sign T.Taylor and draft a QB.
Like watching someone shit themselves in real time

Get rid of Foles, re-sign Mitch, Draft QB & OL.

This ^^^^
Or
If no good QB options in this year's draft at 20

Get rid of Foles, re-sign Mitch, Draft OT in 1st, trade 2nd + to jets or jaguars or other probable bottom feeder for their first next year.

Rather keep trubisky and have him battle it out with a rook....than most of the other options being floated...unless we can get our hands on watson

problem with keeping trubiski is that then you have to keep him

Things are panning out how I thought to where Trubisky is the best and most affordable option available for us.

It was never likely we had the cap space or draft assets to make a deal for a serviceable QB off of their rookie contract.

We can still sign Mitch on a cheap deal, and keep our eyes open for the draft. In the end you keep you draft assets, get to tag ARob, and then potentially have room to make some more moves you wouldn't otherwise been able too.

I’d take Alex Smith and draft a rookie QB as well but he’s under contract still with WFT and significantly more expensive than what Mitch would get

Or you can not waste any money on a Trubisky

Its not wasting money if it allows you to spend money elsewhere. I advocate for drafting a QB at #20 if a good QB drops, but you don't just waltz into the draft without a plan and sit like a duck at #20

We need to prepare for the next season, and we all saw how Foles played with Nagy. It wasn't good. Who else do you advocate bringing in under 10-12 mil to start at QB? What other options do we have? If like Watson, but not happening..

What if we keep Mitch, tag ARob, and are able to sign a top OT or WR in the 1st? Maybe draft another RB.
With Kmet getting more involved during the end of the year, a healthy Cohen, and Mitch improving off last year we could be formidable

Look at all the morons wanting Trubisky back

Dumbest fans in the league
What is you realistic hope? By realistic I mean facing the fact that Watson, R Wilson, and Dak are not leaving their teams this season. Trevor, Z Wilson, Fields and M Jones are out of reach without a Massive trade. I would like Jones or Wilson and I would give up 2x 1st round and multiple late round picks for either, but its not too realistic considering how many holes are on the team. So what option would you like to see them taking?

My opinion is
Option 1 Draft - Trade whatever for Z Wilson or Mac Jones.. I actually think these two will have the best success. Trevor will be average and Fields and Lance will Bust
Option 2 Vet - Alex Smith, and if we cant make a deal with him then Mitch. No FA QB is going to make us a SB Team they are all just band aids that we can use to get us by until we are in position to draft our guy.

If you don't feel like there is a franchise QB in this years draft improve the team and get a guy that can have chemistry with the team to help progress the young players on the team and wait until we can identify our guy. If you do think there is a franchise QB then trade up for him, just like KC and Houston did in '17. I would continue doing that every year possible until you got your guy.

I dont resign Trubisky. Foles is paid for. Trubisky is not.

Trubisky played trash teams and we all saw how that looked against good teams. Foles didn't have that same luxury and played with an offensive line that wasn't playing well at all and had to deal with Patterson starting at RB in a game

I continue to look into trades and other FA options

Trubisky resigning here is a death sentence to the regime and they know that

Weird how the posters who claim they aren't Trubisexuals are always the ones the most vocal about how he's the best option or are the first to overrate his performances.

Yes, lets go into next year doing the same thing that hasn't worked since week 11 of '18. Love Bears fans. Makes me feel smarter.

I especially like how they think this regime is thinking 2-3 years from now, they're not. Their jobs are on the line and they can't risk it on the same old song and dance in Trubisky

reality in 2021...

Smith<Trubitsky

I love the Smith story but the truth is Trubitsky is the better option right now.

With that said Trubitsky is a bad NFL QB. Pace wont hump that tree again.

They have to be thinking 2-3 years from now and this upcoming season. You can’t work like you are only here 1 year. If they put all their eggs in one basket and don’t set themselves up for the future what’s the point?

Rest assured. Mitch will never play for the Bears again. At least not the Chicago Bears

Thats the pitfalls of being on the hot seat.

If they have a terrible season, next year, they won't be here 2-3 years from now.

My suggestion is anyone but Mitch. Anyone but the guy that clearly hasn't worked. It's the definition of insanity and both sides need to part.

I'm done watching Mitch play for the Bears. I know how it ends. If you've been paying attention to what i've been posting the past two years, i've been giving you all the play by play damn near to the T. Calling it every step of the way.

Everyone by now knows where Mitch leads you. Nowhere. I go with absolutely anyone else not named Josh Rosen with even the 1% chance that one of them can have some kind of career revival. Im hoping the whole season is a disaster and that everyone is gone, so really, it doesnt matter if its Mitch or not but im just tired of him. I dont want to watch the same thing again and again.
