... pretty much what I expected if he was pushed into play this season. He simply does not have the starts under his belt from college, other rookies tend to have before they are expected to be the 'man' on an NFL team. Unfortunately, Glennon's ineptness made it virtually impossible to bring him along slowly.
Trubs was not the player I wanted to draft. I was for a QB... but wanted to wait and take one later... though neither of those choices has shown much this season either. The only rookie QB who did show promise this year has been Watson, prior to his trip to the IR. Last years draft class at QB was said to be weak... desperate teams for QBs still drafted several in the first 50 picks, which made people re-consider how weak the class actually was............. but at this point Trubs, Kizer and Peterman have done nothing to change the 'weak' class view.... although that could easily (and LAWD I hope it does) change in thier second years.... Mahommes we still don't know... and while Watson looked to be the real deal... will he be the same after coming back from his injury.
As the season goes on... the only thing to look forward to is another high draft pick.... which many predicted we would be making whether Trubs played or not.
