The coaching is horrendous. I think its way more to blame than our receivers. The scheme itself can help those guys get open but they seem incapable of designing plays to help them instead just making them try and beat their man.

For instance, why not use more bunch formations to help free your smaller, crappy recievers vs man coverage? Use confusion and put pressure on the defense to communicate and line up correctly. This coaching staff is the absolute worst at maximising the strengths of its players on offense.

... pretty much what I expected if he was pushed into play this season. He simply does not have the starts under his belt from college, other rookies tend to have before they are expected to be the 'man' on an NFL team. Unfortunately, Glennon's ineptness made it virtually impossible to bring him along slowly.

Trubs was not the player I wanted to draft. I was for a QB... but wanted to wait and take one later... though neither of those choices has shown much this season either. The only rookie QB who did show promise this year has been Watson, prior to his trip to the IR. Last years draft class at QB was said to be weak... desperate teams for QBs still drafted several in the first 50 picks, which made people re-consider how weak the class actually was............. but at this point Trubs, Kizer and Peterman have done nothing to change the 'weak' class view.... although that could easily (and LAWD I hope it does) change in thier second years.... Mahommes we still don't know... and while Watson looked to be the real deal... will he be the same after coming back from his injury.

As the season goes on... the only thing to look forward to is another high draft pick.... which many predicted we would be making whether Trubs played or not.

This is sound logic IF you believe the Bears coaching staff is giving Trubisky a fair shot. But you can't possibly believe that watching this Bears team. If all the QBs were given fair shots (like Watson, Kizer have been given), I think you would find Trubisky would be solid given his personnel around him. I mean, Watson had better be the best of this class; his receiving corps is stellar. Can you imagine Trubisky with his arm talent throwing to Deandre Hopkins?

straight hot trash! Could of, and should of gotten jimmy garoppolo

Did we watch the same game where Garoppolo didn't score a single fucking touchdown and his kicker won the game for him? Garoppolo is a 4th year pro who didn't impress me at all and you're dropping to your knees to lick his nuts. Get some backbone son.

He was trying to make a play. Sure, he has a free play to fling it down the field, but if no one is open, what's the point? He did have that dump off pass...if the WR could catch.

You fling it anyways to the covered WR down the field, hope for a penalty or your receiver makes a 50-50 catch. YOU DO NOT THROW A DUMP OFF PASS, only a dumbass would do that.

Jimmy is a country mile better than Mitch. More poise, more field awareness, better pocket presence, better anticipation, just better all the way around. Was blatantly obvious today.

Or a rook who's situational awareness just isn't there yet. As soon as I saw the jump, I yelled throw it deep throw it deep. Of course I'm not on that field with 37 other things to process and giant men trying to take my head off. Hell, he might not even have seen the flag. Now if he's doing that shit in a couple years? Yeahhhh I'll be calling for his head.

0 touchdowns. 1 interception on a pass thrown behind his receiver. He moved the ball and couldn't score. So what. Ladies and gentlemen your 4th year pro. Really impressive /s

And he should be. What 4 years in the league, learning from possibly the best ever in an organization built on excellence? Would've loved to see Mitch look better than Jimmy, but anyone who expected it just doesn't know football at all.

Come on man. He's bad. He may have enough talent to get better, but he's pretty bad right now.

Nope.... He's a super talented rookie that will end solving our QB problems for the next decade. Betters days are coming soon. So sad some of you cant see it.

How long has he been with the 49's? Come on man, you know this is a lame argument. He doesn't even know the playbook yet.

He sure hasn't shown me anything that screams franchise QB. No spark Mitch........

Bust or no bust, any Bears fans that claim their worry meter isn't going up is flat out in denial.

Oh the denial is thick, no doubt.
