trubisky is

... pretty much what I expected if he was pushed into play this season. He simply does not have the starts under his belt from college, other rookies tend to have before they are expected to be the 'man' on an NFL team. Unfortunately, Glennon's ineptness made it virtually impossible to bring him along slowly.

Trubs was not the player I wanted to draft. I was for a QB... but wanted to wait and take one later... though neither of those choices has shown much this season either. The only rookie QB who did show promise this year has been Watson, prior to his trip to the IR. Last years draft class at QB was said to be weak... desperate teams for QBs still drafted several in the first 50 picks, which made people re-consider how weak the class actually was............. but at this point Trubs, Kizer and Peterman have done nothing to change the 'weak' class view.... although that could easily (and LAWD I hope it does) change in thier second years.... Mahommes we still don't know... and while Watson looked to be the real deal... will he be the same after coming back from his injury.

As the season goes on... the only thing to look forward to is another high draft pick.... which many predicted we would be making whether Trubs played or not.

This is sound logic IF you believe the Bears coaching staff is giving Trubisky a fair shot. But you can't possibly believe that watching this Bears team. If all the QBs were given fair shots (like Watson, Kizer have been given), I think you would find Trubisky would be solid given his personnel around him. I mean, Watson had better be the best of this class; his receiving corps is stellar. Can you imagine Trubisky with his arm talent throwing to Deandre Hopkins?

This staff is not calling an O to get the most from Mitchell and are telling him to do things the way a vet would plus to not take risks. If they gave him two read plays and rolled him all the time, it would look better but not be as constructive to his development. I just hope this isn't part of a free pass for Fox. I'll be soo pissed if he's back.

He sure hasn't shown me anything that screams franchise QB. No spark Mitch........

Bust or no bust, any Bears fans that claim their worry meter isn't going up is flat out in denial.
I'm not worried in the slightest. That's not to say he is incapable of busting out. I just fully understand the circumstances that surround him at this juncture.

The same Plebs that were calling Goff a bust after one season are the same Plebs declaring Mitch the same.

It's the most short-sighted narrow minded POV a person could possibly conceive in terms of football.

Fair enough, but understand Goff is the exception, not the rule.

It boils down to three things. Talent, mental make up and supporting cast. That's the recipe in a nutshell. Most report that he has the first two. The third and arguably the most important will hinge on this offseason.

If it's done right his chances of success amplifies greatly. If surround by more ineptitude (on and off the field) the chances decrease greatly.

Many young promising QBs have flamed out do to thier surroundings moreso than thier abilities. Mitch is no exception in that regard.

Mitch is fucking awful. About time people started realizing this.

I was just a lurker back at draft day, but YOU, specifically I remember YOU, the biggest GET CUTLER OUT THE DOOR voice said on the day after the draft, that Mitch was THE GREATEST BEARS QB TO EVER TAKE THE FIELD.

Were you the dumbshit that just called The Score asking what we could get to trade Mitch to another team???

Why is someone on the 49ers always wide open? **** Garoppolo, I want Kyle Shanahan. Loggains and Fox are straight hot trash.
Because we have trash corners for the most part.

QBR 117.5

Yeah...fucking awful. Stop trying to hide your Watson nuthugging. Becoming plain stupid.

Mitch 117.5 QBR
Watson 0.0 QBR because he has knees made of Kevin Whits's shin

Okay. I feel like for a while with Cutler, that you were just a troll on this forum. And then you became a bit more rational and level-headed, and I actually enjoyed reading your posts. And now you're saying that Trubisky is "fucking awful"? So I guess it's back to trolling because Pace didn't take Watson? Or do you truly believe that he's that bad?

I just don't see how anyone can watch this circus of a team, and not see that Trubisky is one of the few positives. And you know this team is going to be built around him. Pace is going to go get a guy to mentor and mold Trubisky into our franchise QB. His biggest FA/draft moves are going to be to address the OL/WR. This franchise is going to be all about Trubisky going forward. So you better get used to him. :p

I guess there are people here that see the kid's potential. See the talent. But just know that he's hamstrung by idiots like Fox and Loggains and Pace's mistakes that he'll hopefully fucking atone for(lol). And then I guess there are people that see everything that happens and just blame Trubisky for it? I don't get it, but okay.

I’m just reserving all judgement until we get a competent coaching staff in here. The ineptness on the field makes it unwatchable.

Yes He's hamstrung by Fox and Loggains and all the bad players on the O. Mitcg just needs to be told he can play up to his full potential and he magically will. Just wait. We need a coach that will tell Mitch to play better and he will.

So the horrendous coaching and players around him don't have anything to do with it? Have you watched much of the all-22 footage this season? His receivers aren't open often.
