The season had some good moments/episodes but overall the narrative was a complete and total mess. Difficult to follow from the first episode all the way to the last.

Well, I've been more entertained watching funerals then this season. The whole thing was a terrible story and while I appreciated VV acting, his character sucked. Nice to bring up all those things from his past on his death march that were really not mentioned on the show. If that was the best CF character could do to evade the dirty cop, then he was a brutal detective. If you know their following you, just ditch the fucking money somewhere and fucking get lost in a crowd. Don't go into the middle of the woods where you're the only person around.

I thought that the most real character developed in this show was the Vince Vaughn character. I thought that he was kind of a good looking Tony Soprano. He cared about about his wife and his friends and yet could be ruthless as hell to those who crossed him. I like imperfect characters like him

I also thought that his demise was pretty good. It was consistent with his kick ass personality. When the asshole wanted his suit, he told him to **** off while he knew that his shit was raggedy. Bad ass to the end. I also liked his relationship and trust with his bodyguard and how he took care of his women and set them up although knowing that he would die. Vaughn has displayed a lot of range in his characters,

Yeah, it was all over the place. Pretty disappointing.

They did hint at that a couple times. In fact, I think that's the reason they put him on the case.

The season was an absolute mess. It's a shame because the actors are solid, but the writing was terrible and a scrambled mess.

Rachel could have at least gotten naked. Although they did a pretty good job of making her unattractive most of the season.

They should revive this show next season by bringing back Woody and Matt as new characters in a new story but where Woody has to play the wacko babbling nut character and Matt has to play the wound up Cop dude lol

I noticed that both of them were executive producers of the 2nd season. I don't know if they had any over-sight of that script, though.

But I thought the acting was actually better this year, the story was just fragmented and not put together well. The acting was just fine IMO.

I know Jester... I said the same thing.... I was making a joke.

Imagine Woody trying to play Matt's loony character type while Matt tries to play the straight laced Cop.... would be lulzy.

He didn't give him his suit because he had a bajillion dollars in diamonds in the pocket. It was weak writing and a cop out. Hell, I saw the setup before Vaughn's character did.

I think he was trying to get far away from the safe house as possible.

Rachel was at the dock.... she wasn't even at the safe house and they didn't even know where the safe house was....

Him driving into the woods to die will never make sense.

Pretty sure they were not at the dock when he called?
