You poor thing. Do you get visitation rights. It's only fair. They will miss you too.

I have had a horrible, horrible week and I got invited to go out drinking tonight and even though I'm not a drinker, I think I'm gonna go cause if anybody has a right to get drunk and forget everything it's me.

I bought a new car today and that made me feel better. I finally traded in my workhorse 2001 ford taurus, that has driven me all over creation, 5 years of back and fourth from college, 3 years back and fourth between chicago and St. louis, grand totalling at 150k miles.

I bought American, as the largest buying decision was whether it could be parked in t-birds driveway.

went with the 2011 Ford Fusion (not the hybrid, **** the environment) the mpg difference wasnt 7 thousand dollars worth it.

and i'm going to get in an accident playing with all these new toys that come with cars, all the gadgets you can hook up with ford sync, 3 months free sirius sat radio, which I never considered but got hooked on after a day. voice control for my mp3 player. I nearly orgasmed, all the car needs is to be able to drive itself.

Im not a big car nerd, I went out with the intention of just getting a focus or something of the like. i drove the focus and ford Escape, and the Fusion was an afterthought for what the hell. I wanted to say I was interested in the 60 thousand dollar 2011 shelby cobra, just so they would let me drive it of which the back seats were just for show (seriously, I dont even know why they include back seats, my dad sat in the front seat of that thing and hes not a big guy, and a friggin newborn wouldnt have legroom, there was like seriously 2 inches of clearance.)

The size and handling and feel was very comparable to my old taurus without the taurus price tag. Not really an SUV fan, so I pulled the trigger.

Was messing wiht the wife this morninig, and told her I wanted to trade my 05 Rousch in on a new car. She was happy as shit, till I said I wanted an '11 Shelby GT 500. Needless to say my name was included in with some rather nasty expletives.

Ha, it was a long time coming actually, the fact i just moved into a new place had to buy alot of shit, dropped a grand on repairs for my taurus less than 3 months ago, then than mother ****** starts leaking and steaming. (admittedly I was aware there was a coolant leak) I just said screw it, Ive driven this thing for 9 years. I was surprised they gave me two grand for the taurus considering, my brakes needed to be replaced, it leaked, it smoked, the shocks were bad, the interior was tore the **** up. After they fix it up someone might pay 3 grand for it, thats about it.

If Im not mistaken, although cash for clunkers is long done, I think dealerships get some kind of incentive to get shit piles (no offense intended) off the road, whether it is some kind of tax break or cash incentive.
